Did he over pay? Mine was $259 + 2 extra batteries 3 battery charger $77, Sandisk 256GB $25 card and Tomat Hard case, which is a very nice custom fit case for $26, for at total of $387...The only thing I didn't get was the rubber band that hold the propellers.

You probably already know now but the battery's do have a little bit of power it's just thay need activating by charging before thay work

It looks like you have the wrong app, the Correct one is called DJI fly.
I believe the one you installed was called go fly for DJI drones Which was just a false ad
