1957 Chevrolet Corvette Supercharged Crate LSA V8 556hp Build Project
A tired 1957 Corvette has come into the Steve's Auto Restorations shop for a complete transformation into a new custom sporting body modifications, a new interior design and a new custom round tube chassis by SRIII located in New Lenox, Illinois. The engine is a crate Cadillac LSA V-8 with plenty of power (556 horses) to fry the tires off this lightweight creation. Going through the gears will be accomplished with a Tremec 6 speed transmission. The front and rear suspension is C5 meeting the road with 18″ wheels and BFG 245/15-18″ rubber up front and 255/45-18″ rubber on the rear. David Brost will do the design work for this project and all phases of the project will be done “in house”.

Love that buttery yellow! Great build . But .. it’s a corvette! There’s no wow! Factor ! Needs a hot paint color like Red ! Or black and why the motor cover??? Let’s see that magnificent motor! Don’t hide it!!
