There are some great points there about flaws in Tesla cars, though they are great cars overall. I think my F150 Lightning Lariat is better, though, for some of those reasons. I mean, somethings should just be buttons and latches. The F150 Lightning achieved a good balance because they've removed many of the buttons for less frequently used features and regular info and entertainment features and moved them to the screen, while keeping glovebox latch and lights and the like as switches. Also, it is important to have a "productivity screen" or gauge panel directly in front of the driver. Android Auto support is an important feature for any vehicle, and the lack of it (or I suppose Apple support if one must have an iPhone) should be considered a major demerit to anyone shopping for a vehicle.
would love to see a 360 view & a heads up display, but most of the other “cons” are super easy to get used to. The handle opening becomes a fluid, muscle memorized motion, and I get in ICE cars finding myself looking to the right to see my speed haha.
Hey, Great video, thanks for the insight. However I feel like complaining about the adjustment of the steering wheel position, and mirror seems unnecessary to me. You adjust it once, and never again. And anyone who drives your car can have their own profile set it up once, and never again. I have a”guest” profile in my car, I turn it on, when a friend takes a test drive with my car, and I chose my profile when s/he is done, and my settings are back. Also, if you hate to open the glovebox from the screen because it takes 2 buttons to open, just add that option to the steering wheel ideal and will open easier than a regular glovebox. That complaint is also unnecessary to me, sorry. I get that you wanted to find something, but for example the stupid inconsistency of the automatic windshield wipers would have been a lot more life like, and same thing goes with automatic high beams. Those need a lot lot more tweaking. Again, appreciate your video, keep up the great work.
Fruit loop? LOL I have a Model Y and a Lightning and yes people do assume I like to hug trees and be woke but I just like going fast and it's cheaper to fill up the "tank". On the Tesla you can press the right button on the steering wheel and say open glove box and it'll open it. The menu on screen in the Lightning is almost just as bad to navigate for simple things. When I did have to use the Tesla service center for some items discovered at delivery they were able to repair them. The Ford service dept has gotten worse over the past 20 years I have used them and I know they will be overwhelmed whenever they have to fix something in my Lightning.
Most service issues with a Tesla can be covered by remote service techs.
And I love you guys too, I bought my Tesla used from You guys!!!!

But it is probably the case that the Tesla services come to you
I hate the camera on my Tesla model 3 and you can’t even use the front camera !… the Chevy Bolt has a way better (birds eye view) camera
glass roof=shit its gonna break eventually
I live in South Florida and I have two Tesla service centers within 15 miles of my home.
