Looks great now. It's all about the experience for me, and drawing positives from every situation. The positive here is that you eventually ended up with a great looking car!
Stunning Glen.. I used to stand at tables of the serious racers at our Sunday morning club dribbling at the optima’s.. before going back to get my hornet tuned up ready to go🤣🤣🤣
Massive improvement Glenn! It looks great. Imagine how that look would have been received back in the day... I think it would have wowed the crowds. Great job!!
I had the same issue with a restored T.Optima (Pargu chassis gold). The other anodized parts (uptights and, washers and nuts) were not the exact same gold colour and it ruined it. I replaced these with black and immediately the car popped back to life. I do have also a rere which will ultimately wear a salute body. In my opinion, this is the best looking vintage car (along with the Cat Xls). Thank you for your channel by the way. You come across like a great bloke and I love everything you do on Tamiya Legends and RC Legends. Thank you for the great content! 👍
YEAH BOY!!!!!!!!!! That's way nicer... I still like little touches of colour matching, wheel nuts. Could use gold wheels with black and gold shell.. 👍👍
Wow, it looks waaaaay better now, awesome job! I think the original version had too much gold, but the black decals and white wheels contrast very nicely. Again, excellent job!!
Good on you Glenn. I knew it was in there. You just had to take it from most of an idea and fill in the details that were missing. Sometime you gotta mock it up first.
Well I must say you were correct looks a heck of a lot better. Looking forward to seeing those gold wheels on something else just as beautiful end result definite work of art!!
I really did think that when it was outside it did look good in natural light with the all gold. But have to say wow! How awesome my friend like I said before you are a artist!!
Now that is special. Absolutely spot on 👌 I wasn't a fan of using white at all but the contrast with less gold and the neutral black makes it all come together. Top, top job 👌
You put the thought process in and it came out awesome you do come up with great livery ideas on your cars and buggies😁😁😁😁😀😀😀😀👀👀👀👀 it looks like a kit option kyosho would offer super nice respect
I really love it now. Sadly the gold wheels had to go but it is much better with the white wheels! I also really love the black lettering on the body as well as it ties it all together and gives it a bit of contrast! I get the internal disappointment of it not coming out perfectly from what you had envisioned but I think it turned out super cool in the end!!
Hi Glenn what an amazing difference a few details make, looks stunning 👍This is the sort of colour mix I’m going for when I get mine, mainly gold and white with a few different colours. Well done
Looks great. Might be worth seeing if the black rear window or nose decals work on there too. You’ve really pulled that out of the fire though, nice job.
What a talent you have Glenn, your first idea was fantastic and I loved it,yes the different shades of gold was a little niggle but it still looked lovely, but now you've just made an evo version of your first idea, and now you've created something fantastic, by making subtle changes has changed this car completely. Your keen eye for this kind of detail is unbelievable,I class this as art, your an artist buddy💯👊🇬🇧
Hi glen, you pulled it off with this one. And I fully understand what you mean when you say you dream a design, put it down and it doesn't look quite how you expected. The only change I would say you make now is put a black kyosho sticker on the roof instead of the yellow one you have now.. I only say that because when you had the kit in your hand it was the only sticker you couldn't tell what it was all others pop like I guess you wanted them to. Just my opinion. Keep up the great vids.
It looks a lot better now, white wheels with the gold nut as a highlight works, as do the black decals to bring back the gold on the body a bit. It was now that Glenn realised he hadn't taken the overspray wrap off the body......
In my mind, the original gold theme would have worked if the base colour was the cobalt instead of white. But it looks so much better after the changes you made. 👌 Everything in one colour looks dull quickly. Some contrasts make a car much more interesting.
Great vid as always Glenn 👍, the car is a massive improvement on the first attempt! However in my humble opinion, I'm not sure gold and white work together 😕. Sorry.
Yeah, big improvement. As expected, the black wireframe on the windows looks much better and adding a bit more color with the red decals does give it more of a Kyosho feel. I wonder if black or silver wheels might look even better, but white is nice too
Nice 👍 it definitely looks better with the white wheels, and matches the colour scheme perfectly. Funny how just swapping out the wheel colours makes all the difference.
White wheels are spot on! Much better my friend.
Thanks buddy 😊😊😊
Glenn you have ruined it!!!!😫
Iol that's a difference of night and day mate absolutely way better! Looks fantastic very classy🤩
Thank you 😅
I do it the same way. I change again and again until I like it. Nicely done! 👍
Thanks John 😎👊🏻
That duct decal by the window should be black because it’s supposed to simulate a cooling vent pass through. Love it a lot better now than before.
Thanks buddy yeah I’ll definitely get that changed over 😊👊🏻
Nailed it 👌 allways a worry when you undo something. But glad it worked out 👍
Thanks buddy 😎👊🏻
Nailed it mate! Looks so much better with the black accents and the white wheels!
Thank you 😊
I was in the "leave it as is!" camp, until I saw your changes. you were right, this looks fantastic.
Thanks David 😊👊🏻
Yep, much better Glenn. You have a good eye my friend.
Thanks buddy much appreciated 😎👊🏻
G'day Glenn that's a huge improvement heaps better 👍👍

Cheers buddy 😊👊🏻
Cool Glenn, looks great now....
Gauranga
Thanks Matt 😎👊🏻
Also, I really love the gold wheels. Can't wait to see where they end up.
Haha yeah I’m keep them for a future project 😅👊🏻
Looks great now. It's all about the experience for me, and drawing positives from every situation. The positive here is that you eventually ended up with a great looking car!
Thanks George 😊👊🏻
Totally pulled it out the bag Glenn the contrast of black and gold 👍👍
Thanks Chris 😊👊🏻
Your new design looks great Glenn. Sometimes it's a kind of progress to get to a satisfying result, but that makes the hobby😉
Wow 😀, I didn't think the first version was bad. But having the black decals looks amazing.
Thanks Jason 😊👊🏻
Version 2 is much improved, you've hit the nail on the head this time Glenn. I would be proud to have the car in my collection. 😁
Thanks Ben 😊😊😊
Looks awesome now. Absolutely spot on👍

That is much better. Well done. I really like how that turned out.
Thank you 😊
Massive improvement Glenn! It looks great. Imagine how that look would have been received back in the day... I think it would have wowed the crowds. Great job!!
Thanks for the great comment Jon 😊👊🏻
Good morning Glen!!! Looks waaaaaaayyyyy better!!!! Thanks buddy
Cheers my friend 😎👊🏻
Lovely detail, I would love this chassis in my collection. Thinking box art red but then add in some gold decal too…hmmm
Thank you 😊
Looks heaps better now glenn well done. I wonder what black windscreen posts/struts would look like but we’ll prob never know haha. Nice turnaround
Thanks Graeme 😊👊🏻
Glenn, I liked the original version you did. But now seeing the revised version it totally rocks
Excellent thanks Adam 😊👊🏻
That looks tons better brother 😎👍
Thank you 😊👊🏻
Wow, it looks waaaaay better now, awesome job! I think the original version had too much gold, but the black decals and white wheels contrast very nicely. Again, excellent job!!
Thanks Barry 😎👊🏻
Damn i realize i‘m a nerd by the level i enjoy this video. The car has beautifully balanced contrasting co,ors now. Congrats
Fantastic I’m glad you enjoyed it my friend 😇👊🏻
Good on you Glenn. I knew it was in there. You just had to take it from most of an idea and fill in the details that were missing. Sometime you gotta mock it up first.
Thanks Ryan 🤩👊🏻
Definitely better on white wheels and the decal changes really look good.
Thanks Matthew 😊👊🏻

Thank you for watching my friend 😅👊🏻
The car looks great now. The changes you made changed the entire look for the better. When the body had all the fold on it, it was too much.
Thanks Michael 😎👊🏻
I have to say , think end result looks amazing as I thought it would like all your build s but all gold did look great .
Thanks buddy 😅👊🏻
It looks stellar, awesome looking buggy Glen
Thanks Darren 😊👊🏻
You absolutely nailed it! The black decals really makes it ‘pop’ now. And the white wheels tie it all together. Wow! Amazing build!

Something about some black decals changes everything 👍
I really did think that when it was outside it did look good in natural light with the all gold. But have to say wow! How awesome my friend like I said before you are a artist!!

Vast improvement Glenn, the white wheels and the contrasting black sticker details are so much better 😎👍
Excellent thanks Nigel 🤩👊🏻

Thanks Raymond 😎👊🏻
Beautiful 👍 😀
Thank you 😊
It looks a lot better now, white wheels with the gold nut as a highlight works, as do the black decals to bring back the gold on the body a bit.
It was now that Glenn realised he hadn't taken the overspray wrap off the body......
Haha now that would of been a disaster lol 😂
It looks fantastic!
Thanks buddy 😅👊🏻
I loved the gold wheels but it does look better with the white. I still love the gold and white....
Thank you 😎
Mission accomplished I'd say 👍
Thanks Rob 🤩👊🏻
Looks very good!
Thank you 😊
Looks absolute mint
Thanks buddy 😊👊🏻😊

Thanks Alex 😊👊🏻
Still looks awesome. I'm dealing with 2 bodies myself right now. I know what you mean.
Haha good luck my friend 😅👊🏻
Looks great. I am still pissed about the color of the gold. Those wheels were expensive.
Yeah me too 🤕🤕🤕
WEll DONE, BETTER THEN BEFORE
Thank you 😊
Great vid as always Glenn 👍, the car is a massive improvement on the first attempt! However in my humble opinion, I'm not sure gold and white work together 😕. Sorry.
No worries Sean 👊🏻
Yeah, big improvement. As expected, the black wireframe on the windows looks much better and adding a bit more color with the red decals does give it more of a Kyosho feel. I wonder if black or silver wheels might look even better, but white is nice too
Nice 👍 it definitely looks better with the white wheels, and matches the colour scheme perfectly. Funny how just swapping out the wheel colours makes all the difference.
Yeah this kinda stuff is probably my favourite part of the hobby 😅😅😅
Killer Redo!!!
Thanks Kyle 🤩👊🏻
