I never forget about Maura Murray, one of the first missing person cases as the world wide web was becoming popular. Thank you for this new report about Maura.
I remember watching a documentary on this I don't know how many years ago and her dad would go up to where she disappeared every weekend to look for her. It was heart wrenching. I wonder if he is still alive? This has to be so much worse than actually having a child die, knowing what happened to them and being able to bury them.
This happened just over the state line in new hampshire. I remember this happening 20 years ago because she was going to Umass at the time right by where we lived!! Supposedly a witness saw her wandering away towards a house by where her car was found and they did check the house! Also someone thought they saw her getting into a car also! Sad case , glad you showed this video , our local newspapers have been keeping it in the news also!!
Maura grew up in the town next to where I grew up. The podcast is excellent. I hope Julie finds answers. This shorty is crazy and answers are out there.
There's a witness saying that cars were seen in the area, before the emergency vehicles who responded after someone called 911. It's all sounding suspicious. She's from MA. =(
Why was she going to N.H. in the first place? And why did she get into two car separate car accidents within days of each other? Did someone cause her to crash? Also, why would she lie to her professor about a family member dying? Sounds to me like she was under duress. Was she traveling alone? Why did a neighbor initially report seeing a man in the car with her? Very suspicious.
she did seem to be stressed but I don’t know about duress. No one really knows for sure why she was going but seems pretty likely she was feeling overwhelmed or frustrated or upset etc. probably easier to say a family member died than “I need to get away for awhile”. The car crashes, I’m just gonna be real, there’s evidence she had possibly been developing a real drinking problem. I’m not sure the neighbor reported a person in the car? A neighbor said they thought they saw a light and someone maybe opening the trunk. It’s unclear if the light could’ve been from the car itself or a cigarette, etc.
@@ElleW18I also think it's noteworthy that she disappeared in a national park territory, meaning the federal government has jurisdiction over it. She also attended West Point. Did Maura find out something she wasn't supposed to know?
@@gts3004Agreed. All the time is a reach. She had some issues and was struggling with disorders / drinking and had been in an accident it appears . Hoping they get answers.
@@blucky1250 nobody crashes two different cars within days of each other. She wasn't an idiot, she was a deans list student who had attended West Point. You don't go there unless a U.S. Senator writes a letter on your behalf.
She did get into the wrong car. Not by choice. The chief of police's car, who was driving drunk and got into an accident with her about 20 minutes before her car was found. He took her before any other police could show up and find out what happened. Unfortunately, he and the subordinate who covered for him that night are both deceased. At least one by suicide.
My money, as to who is the most likely person responsible for her disappearance is on the man who shot Liko Kenney together with, or his son .... I'm by no means the only person who thinks that one or both of them together are responsible .....all over the community of Easton and in the area people not only think that, but there are MANY intelligent sophisticated people who BELIEVE the same exact thing.... I KNOW I'VE SPOKEN TO MANY OF THEM It takes very little exposure to video footage of that man and his behavior let alone the decades-long knowledge of people in the area regarding he to come to that conclusion.
What about a creepy teacher or teacher aid or coach at the school? What about a creepy neighbor ? Seems someone knew to be right there when she “needed” someone to be a hero and drive right up to her
I have studied this case since it happened. I do NOT believe there was any 'foul play' in what happened to Maura. Of course a lot of conspiracy theorists would say the opposite. I believe Maura died in the woods of New Hampshire and just has not been found. This is not unusual and even with repeated searches and the technology we have today, thousands of people are missing in woods and are never found despite many searches and all means available being used. I live in NH not all that far from the area and NH woods are vast and dense. Instead of focusing on conspiracy theories or 'foul play', I think some resources should be used in further searches of the area near where she went missing. Some people who tried to be helpful ended up being accused of having something to do with her disappearance. Hurting the reputations of innocent people is just wrong.
Oh yeah what you're saying makes perfect I know I myself and everyone I've ever known our first inclination after getting into a minor car accident is to just go wander off into unfamiliar woodlands with no destination, for a walk and manage to do so leaving no footprints in the snow ...
Age progression technology/software is a joke at this point. It's in such a primitive state and should never be used until the technology improves. I've never once seen it even close of getting ones appearance right anytime someone has been found after the fact. Most of the time it even takes the essence (the noticeable traits of a person), whereas one could look at a photo and imagine the person being 20 years older or whatever and that's 1,000 times more effective. It's cringe worthy how bad it is and there must be some agency out there profiting from it, which is the only possible way I could see such a horrendous piece of technology being used. Also every instance that I know of where ones missing loved one has been aged progress ... they never think it looks like their loved one.
There's absolutely no way she's alive unless under the most horrific conditions... Perhaps you have good intentions perhaps more so you haven't thought through what you're suggesting.

Horrible and painful

@traybern a deans list student who attended WEST POINT often drove drunk? I doubt it

Never heard that angle but remember how they mentioned a cruiser passing or being late to the scene. Is that local theory ?
How do you know this?
