    Even if the Spurs/Thunder series had some bad calls favoring the Thunder, no one of them were in crunch time. In the games OKC won they won by enough that the calls wouldn't have mattered. There were plenty of no calls and calls favoring the Heat that allowed the Heat to get the lead with

    HELL NO, they didn't let him do this at Boston. He didn't do any kind of off-the-dribble work as a Celtic. All he did was come off screens. At Seattle, he scored in every way you could think of, people just didn't pay attention because Seattle didn't get much exposure.

    Game 6, he had 51, not 50. AND Rondo was setting him up that game, he makes the game easier for a LOT of people.
    I'm saying Ray Allen can't create his own shot like he could at Seattle or Milwaukee.

  • @BarstoolBlues33
    @BarstoolBlues33 11 лет назад

    You don't score 51 points running off of screens like he did in 2009. He was actually a lot better and spry in 2009 as opposed to 2008 as he was coming off double ankle surgeries and the doctors recommended he take some time off, but he refused. That's why he looked so good in 2009 as opposed to 2008 (for most of the season as he was excellent in the finals)

    But that's exactly what he did when he scored 51. He was running off screens and spotting up. Which is what the C's wanted out of Ray Allen when he first joined. Not just because he lost/was losing his first step, but because it benefited them greatly. That is all.

  • @ImOutRS
    @ImOutRS 12 лет назад

    @AJVersatility19 12 лет назад

    Doc Rivers has repeatedly praised Ray Allen for his sacrifice, to sit out there and take spot up 3s. He was asked to sacrifice his offensive game to better fit the Celtics. It worked out good for him, but the reason he hasn't created his own shots is because that's not his role. Sure by now he's lost that part of his game but when he came to the Celtics, he still could create his own shots. Just didn't need to.

    fact is, the 60's were an easier era to dominate. Look at Bill Russel and Wilt, they averaged monster career numbers because they played against a bunch of short white guys. Wilt and Russel were at least 4 inches taller than everyone else in the NBA. Wilt's 100 points back then would be the equivalent to 50 points today. Learn your basketball history.
