200 extra horsepower is something I tend to welcome with open arms. There's no doubt this is some of the most fun you can have for the money. However, can an otherwise stock S197 Mustang actually handle this kind of power? Let's find out.

Not sure where u can find a gt 500 for 35k. More like 55k with car prices right now

Yeah, at the time of filming you could find one with a few miles for 35-40. Now any decent 500 is at least 40.

Add 10-15k to your base GT and you would kill a stock GT500 in every category except name status.

Ford Racing Suspension Kit or Koni Kit, White Line Watts Link on rear differential. Brembo 6 Piston Kit......ummmmm🤔..here in California 2013-2014 GT 500 with 50,000 miles or less at least 50k.

Yeah the market when this video was made was substantially different lol. Out East at least, you could find 11-12 GT500s for 30-34K.

@@BuzzytheBlue could get one from Carvana, however I would never do that. Got to be certified by a Ford Dealership before I would buy one......

Good luck with the sale man... have you ever driven a w204 c63 AMG? I’d love to hear your opinion, even in a future video. My friend just got one and he let me drive it, I know what my personal opinions are but Id like to hear yours

Thanks! And I haven’t yet but I’ve heard great things. Seems like something I’d enjoy as long as the transmission doesn’t age it too badly.

@@BuzzytheBlue overall it was a very fun car to experience (my first time driving a v8) and although I didn’t turn t/c off it had better grip than I would’ve thought. I assume it handles as well as a challenger or charger though. The transmission was definitely the biggest letdown imo, I went in expecting a dct but being a 7-speed auto it had a lot more lag shifting than I expected. My only other letdown was that unless you’re flooring it under load it takes a moment to feel the power, it’s probably negligible to a lot of people but being spoiled with itbs it’s hard to look past. I think for the price a dct and itbs are expected especially considering the e9x platform has both. I truly enjoyed it but I wouldn’t want to own one personally

Nope, owner still has it. He goes back and forth on whether to sell.
