So, while the world argues over Flea, Victor, Marcus, Les, Abe Laboriel, Stanley(the list goes on), Mr. Bedrosian shows up and says, "Hey guys. Can I play?". Absolutely sir. Absolutely. Please take your position among the legends.
agree with that bro
WOW..... JUST WOW. Do you know how many bands would kill to have you as a their bass. I mean seriously DAMN!!!
kyle standridge Thanks Kyle!
They wouldn't be worthy.
another masterpiece , Aram you are a constant beacon of inspiration
I am behind and catching up and you never cease to amaze me with your talent. Thank you.
Потрясающе. Скорость, чистота. Успехов в творчестве.
The intro to this is one of maybe five videos that have ever literally made my jaw drop. This man is magic.
you inspire me to play the bass
I discovered this song in 2012 and as a bass player I still think this is the greatest slap song in the world!
You're definitely a huge inspiration. No questions asked. I idolize you man. Damn..
Fantastic finger work. Really superb!!
I didn't even think I liked slap bass. I just never heard it done like this. Melodic Magic.
You just stand there playing the hound out of that thing, like you're hanging out on the street corner. SO cool.
I particularly like your rhythmic feel. Very groovy stuff.
Ahhh. Aram suckled the very teat of Stu Hamm, himself. Then, when weened, was raised in the wilds of South America with only his bass and jungle companions to help him survive. His kindly guide, Larry Graham, always by his side. The loveable and easy going Victor Wooten taught him how to live on the lighter side of life, and the all knowing, all seeing Stanley Clarke kept a watchful eye for the ever present evil of...Jaco, the scourge of the Amazon. Aram now studies and trains to one day return to the jungle of his youth to free his underrated friends and companions from the tyranny of the pretentious Jaco. We believe in you, Aram. .... We believe.
(Edit: 3 years later...we still believe)
That was awesome. :))
I've been playing bass for 13 years now. And i cannot figure out how the hell you are doing that triplet slap. Are you using your thumb for the slap then your index and middle finger to pop? Please give me some insight here. Love your work.
@@Birichino91 i think down with the thumb is one (toward the body of the guitar) up with the thumb is two, (away from the body of the guitar basically picking the string from behind/below) and then the finger(s) are 3, 4, and/or 5.
Oh my GOD! It's f... AWESOME! Просто нет слов! After that I take my bass and start crying :) good job
eargasm! Best bassist I've ever seen! Subscribed ;D Keep on making that awesome stuff!
What the hell, this is amazing
Awesome!!!
Oha never heard such a Killer Bass
Thank you!
Great tone and technique in this v.
milestoneman Thanks!
That was totally rippin'.
Holy shit you r good at all types of music this so fuckin funcky man!!!
Jacob Casaus Thanks!
@nemakur absolutely right! but sometime u really need effects(preamps) but he has the awesome ritter bass so there's no worry for him hahaha
How do his hands function after 5 seconds of this song??
And he does seem to use reverb and delay effects pretty regularly, just not on this particular song.
his point was the fact you don't need more than 4 strings or effects to make great, elaborate bass music? I thought it was pretty clear
Section at about 1:50 reminds me on the Sinister Minister by Bela Fleck
It's a Roya by Jens Ritter. aka Ritter bass.
The second half reminded me of Asturias, was that intentional or just a conincidence? Either way, it made the playing even better than it already was!
+Kesekuchaen Coincidence but thank you!
i'm thinking this guy doesn't
eat, or shower, or take a walk outside or even sleep, geez! what an alien. Humans can't play like that
I haven't got through all vids yet...amazing! Do you have any where you play with an equally talented drummer?
As if Victor Wooten wasn't proof enough already? ;-D Just sayin'... But yes, he's an absolutely brilliant bassist and one of my new favorites. No doubt about it.
Impressive Aram!
What bass do you play?
Looks and sounds scrumdiddlyumptous :-)
I was wondering if your guitar fancied a three way?
Reminded me of Miyavi.
máster
Damn! He's the white Victor Wooten!
Same wavelength, if I could play a well.
They call me slap n pop mm 00
Then why ask what his point was if you understood what his point was?
ist er deutsch? o.O
Hell yeah xD ^_^

The instrument makes a difference but if I can manage to make a 100 dollar first act sound good im sure aram can make a Squire sound good.
practice your scales boys and girls.....
just my opinion but these killer bass riffs would sound better with a full band...
metalehead95 I am looking for bandmates for a full album... but it may be a while! Thank you!
Sure the instrument makes a difference, but ultimately its the musician. I'm sure this piece would sound good on a well set up squier :L
Im sure it wouldn't sound half as good on a Squire as opposed to his 5k dollar hand made Ritter
