I’ve been a saltwater fisherman my whole life and I’m totally new to freshwater fishing. I stumbled upon your channel and have learned a lot. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I live in the trout capital of Georgia and can’t wait to get out there.
Thanks for the tips, I went out and got an Ultra light rod and caught a pretty nice small mouth bass right after watching, Its pretty relaxed compared to fishing docks or piers and I enjoyed myself more standing out in the creek!
Greatest of the videos i have watched. We have been trying the Carolina rig with trout dough but never knew that it was better to use a mono tippet. Can’t wait to try that…
Love the video we just got a lot of rain where we are and they also stock today where we are so we're going to try to go catch them after the water goes down a little bit can't wait to get back out trout fishing and catch some more
Good advice on the color. I have a real tree fishing shirt sky blue with white patches so it looks like the sky. Also when fish rise they usually drop back qith current. Good tips and great vid as always. Luve the tips
Another excellent video! Always interested to hear your tips and explanations. And man what a tank that last fish was!! One of these days I'm gonna hook into a beauty that size. Thanks again!
Could you maybe do a video explaining presentation and jigging? Been catching trout just feel like I would catch more with a better presentation. I have a lot chase the creek bug and also back away because it doesn’t look realistic I’m assuming. Do you like to bounce the creek bug on the ground? Do you ever just let it fall, or is it constant jigging while slowing reeling? Do you want your tip in the air or to the side when jigging?
thank you for giving us some great tips, do you like to fish Crooked Creek any certain day in the week, have you notice the trout are smaller this year that passed years ?
Is there certain brand u use for little thing like those creek bugs I’m trying get away from live bait I’ve been looking around I got some trout magnet to try out
Hey NRV I love watching your videos and watching your technique. I'm now paralyzed and pretty much limited to fishing lakes with my father. I have a few questions for you if you don't mind. I plan on buying a lot of your nrv baits and I was wondering did you come up with all the designs and make them yourself? Also I have a fishing tourny coming up, it's for vets only and they put some big stocked browns in there, I was wondering what's a good bait for big stocked brownies? Also, I haven't been catching a lot of fish this year and then it dawned on me maybe 10lb mono is to much, do you think switching to 6 or 8lb flourocarbon would make a huge difference? Lastly, I rewatched one of your videos from like 3 years ago where you were fishing with Pautzke eggs and I noticed you put like 5 eggs on a hook and I tried telling my pops that more eggs is better, what do you think? Thanks NRV, and keep up the great work.
@@NRVOutdoors makes a huge difference where I am, like 10x the catch rate easy on wild fish that are pressured, stockers will eat just about anything though
Thanks for watching!
That last fish was great!
Heck yeah! Icing on the cake
Love trout fishing. Fishing stocked waters you can catch rainbows, brook, brown , golden trout. It's a great way to start every fishing season.

What action is your rod? Where did you purchase your rod and reel? Another great video!
I picked it up at dicks sporting goods. It's a medium fast
Beautiful little creek. Wish we had similar fishing opportunities. Would be cool if u tried some ultra light tackle on some of those smaller stockers.
Great idea!
nicely well done with those great catches and thank you for giving us some great tips plus information as well.

Great video as always man! What color lens on your glasses do you have?
what kind of sunglasses did u have? Thanks
Thanks a ton for this.
My pleasure!
Also be aware of shadow direction when approaching stream. Shadows make them think of predators and birds.
💯

Yes, switching to fluorocarbon will make a big difference! I would recommend our boss minners or creek bugz for big browns. Good luck and have fun
My rivers are way too fast, what should I do?
Add extr split shot and look for Eddie's and current breaks. Trout will use current but prefer to be in slack or easy water to swim in.
💞Wow💜💜🤍💜💜💜💜
Tip number 1: use a fly rod 😅
No way 🤣🤣🤣🤣🎣
