@@jangundersen6548 It's not sufi tradition but once you read these two books, I can't describe how close to Allah any believer feels. If anyone wants ma'arifa of Allah or ma'arifa of self or knowledge/recognition of God and of oneself then these are the goto books. They are full of spirituality, a treasure for any believer. You can go to al-islam dot org and read there.

I born in Skardu, I knew evert street of the city. I remember the mid night in Skardu sleeping on roof with a clear view of the constellation. The actual beauty is not lies in the city but on the mountains, and outskirts. All you need is a sleeping tent and 4 by 4 wheeler or jeep and basic necessities. I can guarantee you that after having those experience you would not like to go anywhere else in the whole world. Sleeping in the hotel and meeting the local is one side but sleeping on next to the lack or e.g. Blind lake, Sheosar lake or in in world highest desert or world highest pastures and alps is whole e new experience that you can have on this part of the world , the feeling you can touch the start on the heights of the Fairy Meadows is just something else.
Mashallah may ALLAH give you the Chance to travel All over the World!
