  • Today I zoom in to grab Shane and head straight to Burhnam Harbor. One of the few harbors you can access and Park in with a fisherman’s pass which you can buy at Park Bait shop. Today we set our sights on early spring smallmouth Bass. But as you know with fishing, You never really know what your going to catch.

I appreciate the content, but man you gotta get that pike back in the water quicker than that… it’s a sub 40” fish no need to film an entire 2 hour movie with a 15 year old fish… these bass fisherman always mishandling every other species… can’t just lip/gill trophy pike like that with no belly support it damages their internals… PS not a snowflake, but a life long angler who has a great deal of respect for keeping the fisheries healthy and handling and releasing fish correctly

I appreciate that and can respect that. But trust me the angling community is all talk. And that all I see from you. Showcase what you preach. I’ll ignore your ignorant comment because I could have easily kept it. So your welcome for successful release. Maybe toss him in next time forget the net. Belllly Flop! Come on considering the circumstances. I did every well, Troll. Haha Glad you enjoyed and watched it all the way through. Alittle effort goes along way. Go out and receive your own criticism. You’ll then know you doing right. Happy Fishing 🎣 😎

@@GeoFishing hey sounds like I may have struck a nerve? I get it, reeling in 2lb dink bass, lipping them, and tossing them back is an industry standard practice with you guys… this may not be stressful to BASS, but if you were an experienced angler you would know that different species need to be revived and handled differently… pike… especially of that size aren’t not meant to be dragged out of the water with their entire body weight being unsupported(once again this isn’t a bass)… this isn’t “all talk” this is me educating you on how to handle fish because of YOUR ignorance… I’m not “all talk” I care about the preservation of our fisheries and treating the animals with respect… stick to bass fishing, so that there’s still fish alive for the rest of us… oh and btw that fish eyed lens isn’t fooling anyone

@@adamtaylor6918 your Ignorances are vast. I typically don’t waste much time on bottom feeders. Your first mistake is assuming I’m a bass fisherman because of what I’m targeting. The second is put yourself in that situation so high elevated above the water. You’d rethink what your saying, though you’ve never been in such a situation. Yet speak on it? I did the best I could with what I had. For third assuming I had the fish out for 20 minutes? Your fourth taking for granted the Great lakes fisherie and putting that fish at 15 years. Maybe 12. So so sorry for preaching the right ways in an urban environment that’s not suppose to support what I artfully and actively showcase. Your talking so far out of your bASS it’s funny. And very insulting to myself whom fishes day to day. Not month to month. Like I said I give bottom feeders very little time. But this one needed to be dealt. Because your vast ignorance. Especially by some nobody no proof All talk Troll. Keep trolling. I keep producing letting go and re producing. Would that be possible if I neglected my fisherie ? So many bigger fish to fry. Your barking up the wrong tree. Go do you. Find some happiness. And genuinely good luck. 👍 Happy Fishing 🎣

@@GeoFishing 💀 grown ass man fiddling with a fish like he’s a 5 yr old… you had a telescopic net quit making excuses… and your fishing puns, albeit funny, are just rooted in a argumentative fallacy of ad hominem (a 40 yr old man should know what that means but you probably need to look it up given your VAST ignorance) it’s funny how I’m the ignorant one ( my grandfather was legitimately a northern pike fishing guide 💀💀💀), yet you don’t know how to properly handle the species in which you caught… I fish on a weekly basis too, do fly ins, drive ins, and outpost fishing excursions multiple times annually… you aren’t the worst angler I’ve ever seen… but given your platform (which you seem to think makes you omniscient when it comes to fishing) you need to do a better job of handling and setting a good example for the rest of the angling community… stick to seinkos and neighborhood ponds if this is your outlook on fishing… “bottom feeder” is funny… any species of your choosing and i guarantee my PBs are better… so if im a “bottom feeder”…. I guess that makes you cut bait… if you want to become a better fisherman, maybe head the advice of those with more knowledge and better skillsets… maybe you might learn something

Just found your channel and have enjoyed going through your backlog of videos, especially the Government Harbor ones. I just moved up to that area and I've been itching to give it a try. Feel free to hit me up if you find yourself in that area again and would like some company! I'd love to see what I could learn.
