Yeah. That's about right. I tested this in multiple boxes and the 2.5 seemed the best sound and power. Lower tuned would have helped but I'll try it again. Thank you for your comment 😊
That's awesome. I can imagine. I'm about to get a 4th Timpano 2500 series sub and two separate boxes. I'm going to grab another Rockville Punisher 12 too so I'll have another pair. I just got a reserve series 12 too. I should have that demo soon with some short's as well. Thanks for your comment and support 🙂
Gain isn't a volume knob wether it's half way or just barely cracked open past 1/4 turn. It's just matches the signal voltage. From their your volume on your headunit will control power output at the amp
@@SubzPawz love the content bro. Appreciate you doing vids like this. Sorry if I came off like an asshole. I just feel like ppl get this misconception when they say oh my gain ain't even turned half way or whatever. But yes sharing info like that deff helps ppl get to understand what setting lpf an hpf gain an what not effects your output
@@TrunkThunderLithium I own over 200 sub's and over 100 amps. I try to mix around them and show people what each one will do with the other. No worries bro. I appreciate the comment and appreciate you watching. I completely understand what you were talking about and your explanation as well.

Hey man awesome channel sending prayers for you and your family, but I recently bought the seismic audio gfc 10 inch, and I was wondering if it safe to push the rated 800 rms? I was also wondering if the subs tiny tinsel leads are durable enough to push such a beefy magnet?
I have the GFC and the LAF, they are both very similar, that was the first thing I noticed on them was the small leads for such a beefy sub. But I've run the myself in my van for weeks hammering on them with RMS power. I have everything of mine set to just before they start clipping. They ran without any issues and at most times they surprised me. The 10" has the larger 3" voice coil also, I've been wanting to test that one myself. Thank you for the prayers, and also for your comment.
@@SubzPawz hey man appreciate it, one last thing is there a weight difference between the gfc and laf? Seismic Audios official site had the laf at 2*80 magnet weight for the 12 inch, and the gfc at 3*80 magnet weight for the 12 inch. Also do you have a preference as to which sub you like better?
@@jefflal5804 I'm going to line them up side by side. I've been wanting to highlight all of the subs I have and line all of them up and see who is who. New ideas, thanks.
Great vid i was really hoping to see what it was truly capable of i like the 25 to 35 hz region and I have a CT sounds 1k rms at 1 ohm and I love it its a monster it will easily bottom out to rockford fosgate p3 12s on 12.6v I was hoping to see this tarantula moving peak to peak at like 30 hz but box rise may mess with that
She'll be back for more soon, that is one of my new fav's for subs. She will be back in the spotlight soon enough, and I will get her moving to those tones too. Thanks for your comment.
There's many similarities and many differences. The bamf I did a demo on a while ago. It took it's power, not 4,000 watt's or anything but 1500-2000 ish. It just didn't have the sound to go with the power, but it did okay for a budget minded sub. Yes, they do inflate their numbers, especially on the amplifiers
@@SubzPawz aint these 3inch coil subs with the screw down spider easy to repair if they happen to blow? I got 2 of the Gravity gw12d4 @1500rms 3000k peak. Just scared to send 1.5k to them. I may set my gains to send out 1.2k each and see if they start to smell.
Loved my soundstream T5 12. About to do a setup with 2 12s on a 3K. These subs box happy place is 2.5 cubes for 1 12

I have 4 of these 12 on 10k and the impact from these things are ridiculous.

I just tell people where I have them set to. I'm going to start actually sharing my lpf and other knobs settings. People ask questions about it

I think the one I have is about that, it will sound nuts. I was so surprised when I heard this sub. Thanks for the question and your comment.

Aint this pretty much the same as PA Bamf? I feel like PA lies about their rms ratings. Claiming thr bamf is 1750rms when its prolly only 1k
