All anyone ever wants to talk about is Wilson, Luxilon, Babalot or Technifibre, when it comes to strings. Yonex strings are so underrated. The Rexis Speed and Rexis Comfort both have me very intrigued.
I tried several Yonex strings, and almost 30 other types of strings, finally the first choice fell on the Yonex PTP yellow 120 and the second Solinco hyper-g 17
@@jerome_morrow, We like PTP as well as a great all-around poly. That said, these particular picks were heavily influenced by our TW University lab data. So for yonex, Poly Tour Strike has the best tension maintenance, poly tour Rev and Spin highest for spin potential, and Poly Tour Air is least stiff, according to TWU lab data. Troy, TW
They don't mention a best seller because they wanna sell the stuff that doesn't sell otherwise 😅 Go for Poly Tour Pro it's my main string and there's hardly a better string for the value (depending where you live). A Reel 200meters cost me 100€. That's a steal.
@THE TENNIS JONES, Definitely a great string, we don't deny that! But at the moment if you poll our team, other Yonex strings have been chosen as our favorites especially in terms of spin potential and comfort and some of the other categories mentioned. TW Staff
@Anthony Macaluso, Based on our lab tests, Poly Tour Air does come out as the softer string, but obviously other factors can come into play when it comes to what you are feeling on the string bed! twu.tennis-warehouse.com/learning_center/comparestrings.php Michelle, TW
No, we like poly tour pro a lot, and use it on a lot of Yonex racquet reviews. However, these picks were driven from our TW University lab data, So for Yonex, Poly Tour Strike has the best tension maintenance, poly tour Rev and Spin highest for spin potential, and Poly Tour Air is least stiff, according to TWU lab data. @@tenniswarehouse you guys didn't even mention how amazing Strike plays, forget the tension maintenance that string blew me away unbelievable energy unleashed on the ball with a ton of great control and good feel. And even good spin. Might be the best string ever
While I tennis club pro between 2012-2015, I tested a lot of strings and after favoring co-poly, my favorite ended up being Poly Tour SPIN. However, I have never tried the REV. Any in-depth details on the comparison between the 2 not mentioned here?
that video just fortifies his point 😂 they wanna sell everything that doesn't sell without their help so they don't mention the popular PTP because that sells itself
Sure, it offers a lot of control and spin potential. We would usually string around 50 to about 52 in a racquet like that. If you want some other alternatives, we like Solinco Hyper-G, and Head Lynx Tour as well. Troy, TW
Poly Tour Pro is a good one, and a good all-around poly. We suggest something like the Rexis Comfort, or Dynawire, and the tension range on the racquet is 40-55 pounds, so we would probably go about 53 pounds. Troy, TW
The biggest problem with Polytour drive is it's name, which does not represent the string at all. It's also good for a full stringbed, simplifying things, which I can not for example say for Polytour Spin which is too slidy on it's own.
I don't see those versions of the Rexis in our database for TW Europe. But you could send them an e-mail, www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/custservice/contactus.html, asking about those strings, and maybe attention it to one of the product buyers. Troy, TW

Yonex Poly Tour Pro yellow bar none!!! Fantastic string!!!

Isn’t it’s durability bad
Y’all forgot the best one poly tour pro yellow
Unbelievable, right? YPTP yellow is one of the best polys that Yonex makes!
My string of choice!

@@tenniswarehouse Thanks for the informative reply, Troy! Cheers!
Well, they don’t have problems selling that one, I just bought 200m, from my local shop xD

I’d argue poly tour pro is softer than the air string. I did have it in a thinner gauge though.

Nice review guys! Did you guys leave out YPTP because Strike is better or because it has been reviewed before? Curious
No need to mention the Best Selling Yonex Poly ;)

spin black plays same as spin blue?
Poly tour rev...best strings on the market
Hi TW, will you be doing a review of the rexis speed and comfort strings? How does the rexis speed compare to the Tecnifibre Triax?

I am interested to string my Yonex Vcore 98 with Poly Tour Spin. Do you recommend this string for that frame and what tension should I apply???
Sure, it offers a lot of control and spin potential. We would usually string around 50 to about 52 in a racquet like that. If you want some other alternatives, we like Solinco Hyper-G, and Head Lynx Tour as well. Troy, TW
Put spin in mains and ptp in crosses 👌
Poly tour air, poly tour spin, poly tour strike, poly tour rev AND NO POLY TOUR PRO?? makes me wonder if all other TW videos are biased :(((

Question: If I want more power, do I go for the Polytour Pro, or the Polytour Strike?
Both are great options but we would say try Poly Tour Pro first!

@@tenniswarehouse Thanks!
@@tenniswarehouseis hybriding them ( like Ben Shelton ) a good idea as the strike’s maintenance can help with PTPs bad durability
I like polytour strike better but I heard that polytour rev durability is the worst
what string and tension would you recommend for ezone 100SL, for lower intermediate player, thanks

I prefer for juniors Polytour Drive. Great spin because have octagonal faces

Please make a video on gama string.
Wow, where is Chris? No Chris=no new vintage racquets….crying…
What about Yonex Tour Super 850?
850 is so much better than the Rexis line, IMO.
