Indeed! And it's a racket Yonex sells (newer version) compared to Novaks racket. Speed only exists as 100" but Novaks racket is 95".. Even more silly is Head Boom. Musetti and Gauf is the face of Head Boom. Musetti uses Head Extreme Tour painted as Boom, and Gauff uses a Head Speed painted as Boom..
Why is that on Djokovic? It's Head who doesn't make Djokovic's racquet for the masses anymore. Liquidmetal Radical is a great racquet that would still work in today's game(Djokovic is the proof) but Head decided to cancel the line. Should Djokovic change his game just so that Head can sell more racquets?
I have nothing in common with a professional men’s tennis pro 😂😂😂. That is wild. I thought they changed racquets cuz they enjoyed fresh grips more than anything.
@@chevy4x466the pros are very sensitive to seeing tension too. Even me as a mostly recreational player I notice that my strings noticeably lose tension after 2 or 3 practice sessions about 3 hours or so of play time. And pros are hitting much more frequently and rallying a lot more with bigger serves, so 1 set is about right for a racket before they notice tension loss and change rackets.
Me, decent amateur. Never longer than 2,5 hrs, usually about 2 hrs, sometimes 1,5 hrs. Rarely serving. It really depends on string itself, string setup (thickness, tension), string pattern, amount of spin and partners’ style. For pro player any result is possible.
Hi , i bought an Ezone 100 on the aftermarket. It has a Leathergrip on it. Now the Balance is More headlight and the weight with Overgrip is about 330 Gramm. Do you think i have any Pros with this setup? What are the benefits or is the Ezone with original Basisgrip better to Play? Or do i have to put Lead on the Frame to have the Original Balance back? Best wishes
@@eincan1313 Possible but some Yonex pros have been switching so maybe that could unlock something? I mean his track record in big finals isn't great.....
I could see why he chooses the Poly Tour Spin, I actually prefer it over the Rev. I found Poly Tour Spin to be pretty firm, but actually feels pretty crisp; low powered but I think the Poly Tour Pro helps in the crosses. Troy, TW
I hear you, but a couple of things…. 1. ATP guys rarely change equipment. 2. Ruud has had an excellent career and is playing great this year. 3. Strings are very subjective. I am guessing you like Rev, but there are plenty that don’t including myself.
He actually is honest by saying he uses the same racquet since 8 years. No BS marketing lingo... respect!!!
Exactly. Makes me wanna ask djokovic which speed does he use ?
but i think yonex makes their players use the newest model?
@@Eyeball53perhaps it depends on the players deal.
@@michaelp9061 he doesnt use speed, he uses a very old head radical 95 sq inch !
@@Eyeball53They don't.
This is the kind of interview I have been looking for, no marketing BS.
Tennis fans are sick of the marketing lies. Great interview.
Unlike djokovic who never even touched a speed , Ruud uses a dr 100 extended which is in the same line he actually promotes.

chris, nice interview great answers from casper. i hope you do more of these interviews with other atp and wta players. thanks.
Super interview! Super informative.
Great segment. Hope to see more of these player/racquet interviews.
Great interview, thanks tw!
Probably the most well adjusted player in the game today.
crazy he breaks strings every hr.

@@Jarek1749 must cost a fortune to keep ‘em strung. I suppose u probably do it urself
Breaking a poly string every hour shows he plays a different game to me😮.
interesting interview! A true endorsement.
Great interview!
Best pro racquet interview I have ever Seen. Kudos!
0:39 so he's using an extended length racquet?
yes it’s is around 27.7 inches
Yes. He uses one slightly longer than 27.5
He’s a beast The swing weights of those extended racquets are high. I couldn’t hit it. It was like trying to swing a pole vault
New strings every 45 min, must feel crisp 😀
Very transparent nice!

I want that hoodie he has
I dont see his jacket! Really cool one
Really interesting to know that pros use RPM Team
Unreal how he can say that his strings only last an hour in match.
"So why do you use a hybrid of PolyTour Spin and PolyTour Pro?"
Casper: "I just think it's neat."
PLZ INTEVIEW RYBAKINA ..VCORE 100!!
57lbs at 1.30 is crazy 😮
he uses the dr
17g mains and 16g cross is wild
57* lbs
57lb with stiff EZONE
He should try rev instead of spin.
I think he knows what he is doing and may not need some advice from some random guy on RUclips 😂
