Congrats and good luck! A caution though: at least speaking for myself, the journey from plat to diamond was very significantly harder than my climb up until that point. So use your improvement as motivation to push forward and persevere :)

But on a more serious note, look only at what YOU can improve to carry. You can't decide how good the teammates you get are.
You are the only thing that's consistent in your games, so if you play enough games and are actually better than the elo you're currently in, you will climb. The better you are, the faster you will climb.
I get bad players and inters / trolls in my games as well. So I play that game to the best of my ability, watch the replay of it to figure out if I still could have carried anyways, learn from it, and move on. It's 1 game. There will be at least 5-10 games without an actual troll / inter in it, so I'll just win most of those and still climb.

The difference between low and high elo players: high elo players are better at the game. Neat.
I think the main point of the video is to demonstrate the thought process of a high elo player so the lower ELO players can get an idea about what concepts are useful to think about in game.
At 9:05, the ally minions re-aggro onto the minion attacking Cass. I never noticed this was a thing in my 10,000+ games of League. Maybe I'm nub, but minion aggro rules might be a good subject for SCC to cover.
Are you kidding? I was just in practice tool and the turret target me while I was behind minions. It's a bug. Those happen ALL the time. There is no such thing as consistency in this game.
It's quite simple if you just remember the first 3 priority rules!
Minions attack:
1. Enemy champions attacking an allied champion.
2. Enemy minions attacking an allied champion.
3. Enemy minions attacking an allied minion.
The last 4 rules are quite logical and don't have as much impact as these first 3 I think

Simple, walk up to him whilst slowed and tank his whole combo to do an auto, the walk away and get hit by another q, rinse repeat till death.
yeah, its a bad example and counterpicking as a challenger on a smurf acc to make a "educational" video is just BS. They should pick loosing matchups and show how to play those especially if u are smurfing as a challenger...
Would be realy cool if the game would let you look at the abilities, their cooldowns (in general ofcourse, Not their current cooldown for the ability to come up) and just general status of the enemies hero's like their base line damage (AD, AP or both). Figuring out what a champion can do and how to counter it is one of my personal biggest problems as a new player and the game does not realy help with this.
By playing a champ one time you will learn more from it then playing against him 5 times. If you wanna start to have all the cooldowns figured out you should try all champs. These things take time tho

@@diogopocas7943 To add onto what you're saying CD tends to differ depending on the items/runes the players take as well. It's best to watch league videos like these displaying how to play champs, because if you know how to play it then you know how to counter it, at least that works for me.

@@sammylee5474 Still would be nice to know the abilities they can throw at you while a match is ongoing instead of having to google it. Knowing how often the enemy can use an ability and what it does without playing them a ton or looking it up outside of the game would be a nice feature that would not break the game itself and would help new players like myself.

@@Miguel-td2ow I meant to say that it’s common sense for low elo players to lack the knowledge high elo players have. This video seemed pointless to me and I’m low elo lol. We understand things like this we just haven’t executed it yet. We haven’t practiced it or played it enough.

You should know it's on like 4 second base so you should think its something like 3.5 with leathal half proced
Generally strong advice in champ select/loading screen: If you don't already know enemy cooldowns, search them up. There are some matchups where not knowing that enemy movement ability. Against a champ like camille, her hookshot is 16 sec at rank 1, but if you don't know that, and don't keep track of it, it's easy to think she has it off cooldown 10 seconds in.
Those last 6 seconds are when you're most likely to get a kill on her, because your rotation is probably up.

I dodge a lot of skill shots when I'm in a good day, yet they see to hit me in the max hit box possible, I just dunno how to actually dodge if everything is going to hit me even if I clearly get out of range
That varies with where you are on map. High or low
There is some video about league XY system (because of that skillshots work like intended only in river because its perfect)
I have a rlly big problem in affecting the map when the enemy shoves better because their kill threat zones me away from the wave. How can I fix this :(
I'm often struggling with the same, and I think improving that is one of the main things that got me to diamond. One thing I've been working on is challenging my own beliefs about kill threat, and working on my trading mechanics. In particular, playing once champion helps a lot to know your limits; I'm a guy that naturally assumes the worst, so playing the same champion and studying matchups gives me the confidence to be more aggressive and punish enemies harder for mistakes, knowing I'm not pushing the limits too hard. This directly reduces their kill threat by lowering their hp, increasing yours and making you more confident that you'll be fine if they all-in.
But certainly, for some champions this is just the nature of the matchups. I play a lot of scaling champions, like Veigar and Vladimir. Know your champions identity and if you need to make plays around the map to win. Maybe you're just playing a champion that should focus on farming and scaling.
@@theWebWizrd thnx for the advice man. I'm usually playing Galio in the Midlane with a predator, frostfire, DE build. Many matchups I'm able to push and roam but certain champs like zed, yone and some yasuo players really make me afraid to cs since I can't rlly on my long cd q to stay ahead in farm. I've only been playing for one season but nearly lvl170 and in placement for my rank up games to silver4.
Just get a new account to 30 with boosted mmr. You'll start from gold 3 with massive lp gains to diamond.
Basically the difference is having a huge amount of game knowledge of all areas of the games. Well ye of course, but that comes more with playtime or being a savant

I wouldnt necesary get this all info when i play. I draw a map on my head (on the game) to known when the other player has an skill (or is baiting me without having one) so that i known cooldown basis on the movement of the player.
In that sense i couldnt ever sidestep the Empowered Q of Yone.

Before the change, conqueror was stronger because of the healing. When the healing was cut, lethal tempo became the better rune because of its attack speed bonus . It wasn't always as good as it is now, but lethal tempo was taken in some matchups.

well you can't rank up at all if your jungler goes 9/14 at 21 minutes and spams ff vote in your face and 0/18 adc agrees because her e-kitten support that's 3/8 also pressed yes, so you're the only one in team that has most cs and vision score, and most successful lane, and your team ff's or jsut runs it down to hold you hostage, and you get reported for feeding with 14/8 zed mid in iron 1, enemy adc went 28/4 as jhin, with 580 ad and 100% crit, was fun game, anyone knows where to get new razor mouses ? I broke mine like 20 mins ago

yone-yas-malph zed irelia blah blah are popular picks and you see these champs in your games a lot. if you really want to improve in this game you should learn who are you facing against or at least know the skills of the champs. Or you can just look it up at the loading screen to see their skillset cooldown. takes max 1 minute

So I'm in Gold promo, again, climbing all the Way from bronze just to get 2 an afk in 2 games and a swain supp, with fleet footwork, going fulltank. Honestly silver is absolute hell.
Like i Really feel like these tips are great but as long as you're not a ton better than your average silver/gold player, climbing to high Elo is very much a coin flip. You won your lane? Great. Your midlaner literally went 0/7 in 10 minutes. Nice.
You're top? Congrats your enemy laner just picked a ranged top, wouldn't be too bad if jungler in silver had half of a brain to punish pushing, ranged top laner.

These guides are good With valuable info but it really doesn't matter. You can't solo carry every game no matter how good you are. It's a team based game where items and lvls are the important thing. You can't win if 2 of your Lanes are feeding. Unless you never go outside and keep grinding. Winning and losing over and over until you get to the rank you want
