I'm sure that she was one of the most intelligent and graceful woman in modern China. She was an excellent English speaker and writer, so she helped her husband, general Chiang Kai shek greatly so much whenever he met the western leaders and even American presidents.

If only the Chiangs had won the civil war...it is such a deeply sad story for their people, and all of Asia. Sometimes, I wished we lived in an alternate universe where the Republic of China (ROC) had won the Chinese Civil War. Sigh, perhaps someday, the Republic of China (ROC) can successfully reclaim the mainland and restore China as a true democracy.

你说得太对了，我是英国人，她和宋庆龄的英语都是英式英语而且贵族口音，发音跟母语英语一样，无法说我对宋家的佩服和尊敬，我现在在南京当外教，再也没机会听到任何人讲这么漂亮的英语，她选择的词汇很高级，很多普通的英国人也没她会用这种词汇。
