As a child my sister and I would mudlark along the banks of the river Tweed, one summer finding so much lead that my father sold it to the battery recycling man at the family garage: Tweedside Motors. Nicola, I will probably never go mud-larking. but I really love watching your videos. They are so well made and relaxing with that "Never no what you might turn up next factor". I hear youngsters nowadays say there is nothing to do or I'm bored. If its not a computer game or a face book page the majority show little interest in anything else. I was fortunate enough to have parents that bought me up to appreciate the great outdoors and all it has to offer, from nature, history, foraging and so much more. If there is such a thing could the Mudlark community come together and advertise this fantastic hobby to the younger generation? Sorry its an o.a.p. rambling!
