    For me, I really like the match between Ma Long and the legendary chopper, Joo Sae-hyuk. This is a 4K epic battle. When Ma Long met the peak performance of the Korean legend in Incheon, attacking beauty to the extreme defensive style.

    This is the closest and most nail-biting game that can keep viewers on the edge of their seats throughout.
    Ma Long's generally aggressive attacking style was pitted against the defensive-offensive style of legendary chopper, Joo Sae-hyuk.
    I can understand why the video was titled the "best table tennis match of the century".
    But as there are still 76 years left till the end of this century (assuming the world survives), I would add to the title "so far".
    Nevertheless, thanks for sharing this exciting match.

    • @eblignoi
      @eblignoi 8 месяцев назад +1

      I assume that this means the best game of the last 100 years, and not exactly the current century (it seems so to me; that is exactly the meaning intended);
      because it would be at least stupid to make statements about the future (which is unknown and uncertain)

    • @lychan2366
      @lychan2366 8 месяцев назад

      @@eblignoi Unfortunately, not everyone in this world shares your assumption or interpretation.
      People usually make a distinction between centuries;
      not the century of the last 100 years that span over 20th and 21st centuries.
      In normal interpretation, "century" in the video title is taken to mean this century, i.e. 21st century.
      If producer of the video title adopts your assumption, he/she could have chosen "over the last 100 years" instead.
      I don't think stupidity or the lack of it, is the issue here;
      it's more a (too) loose usage of the term "century".

    Джу Сэ Хёк я думаю.первая ракетка мира в защите. МА Лонг удачлив, в атаке,удачлив: Хёк просто блестящая защита. Правильная защита, сохраняет положение твоего преимущества, для контратаки. Атака приносит победу, если защита слабая. И защита даёт победу, если атака не на высоте. Действительно, лучший матч века.

    For me if it's about defender vs attackers game, it is this game because the ball this time capable of expanding the cabality of strokes and spins, you can actually play with ball's spin, on the 40+ ball era, i go with the WTTC 2017 MaLong vs FZD, on tactics and match preparedness i go with the Olympics 2020 Dima vs MaLong, cz it showcase MaLongs weakspots and Dima's preparedness yet ML still prevails.

    Although Joo is a incredible player, but I've always thought that he would benefit from a more offensive taktik. As soon as the opponent hesitates he should attack hard immediately... not continue to cut as if nothing has changed in hope that the opponent would miss...... eventually. Guys like Ma (and a lot others on this level...) doesn't miss a lot.... Just a defensive game doesn't cut it anymore, you must have an great offensive too. Like Filus when everything works for him.......

      i agree, it even make me think that a player that would have both offensive ability than malong and defensive ability than joo would be so crazy, you can see malong seems very perturbated sometimes when joo play agressive, i can imagine that a player being so impredictable with the type of balls than he send (sometimes cutted like joo and sometimes fast) would be so hard to play against, most players fit to their style but a style with both defense and attack would be maybe hard to beat or predict

    Ma Long is no doubt the GOAT. However, he is not an absolute chop killer. That title goes to his teammate Xu Xin who was sitting at the team bench. Xu Xin has the absolute forehand power that can repeatedly bypass Joo's impenetrable defense. Usually, it is hard for Joo to win even one game from Xu and in most games he barely scored over 5 points, which shows how devastating Xu is against the top level choppers in the world.

    Deux joueurs formidables, c'est certain. Cependant et pour moi, je trouve cette rencontre linéaire, académique quant à l'attaque et la défense, presque ennuyeuse. On n'y retrouve pas l'instantanéité d'autres rencontres du fait de la spécialisation en défense du Coréen. On attend seulement l'échec d'attaque ou l'erreur de défense. Bref, spectaculaire pendant cinq minutes et longuet le reste du temps...mais ce n'est que mon avis ! 😉

    I think it s not a good idea to put the translation so big in this video below and underlined with black. Thank you for your translation, it 's a lot of additional work, but in some of your videos i can not see the important things of the match. Maybe you will find different position in the video to present the discriptions. 😅 But I like your videos. It gave us european tt players a view of chinese players, techniques, tricks and tt life.
