    Send it to me XD, the weather in Germany is great.
    Keep in mind the wingarea is only 14 dm´2, which equals a wing loading of roughly 75gr/dm2 which is kinda high.
    The Stall characteristic is kinda nasty, according to b14ckyy's Tech but I purchased one because I like to try a Wing (probably the only kind of Airplane I have not flown).
    Shipping delayed until November 15 I think.

    Mine has finally arrived, had to pay an extra £12 for vat and RM handling! But a very nice kit. The box was smaller than I expected, it was well packaged though. Going to fit the Kopilot in mine with VC400 up front.
    So a new problem, the battery! I have two batteries to chose from, both turnigy graphene, 2.2 3s, fits side ways but the strap is too long to grip itself! 4.0 3s, too long to fit inside sideways! Hmmmmm must think about only 4 s batteries....that fit sideways, also the Kopilot vc400 will only fit if I butcher the camera hole.

    I'm missing something here. Videos about this wing PNP kit say it's DJI FPV ready and the manual specifically states it can accommodate an Air Unit without modification, but the supplied electronics have a 5v 3A BEC. This is not enough voltage to power an Air Unit. Planning to add a ZOHD Kopilot Lite, but I don't see any way to power it through that either. 🤔

      I've just used some on a model. Dang it! I'll make a video on them. They are easy to use: cut a slot in the aileron, push home the hinge halfway, cut a slot on the model and then push the hinges in so that they are sat level, flex the control a little and dribble some thin foam safe CA glue onto the hinge. It'll be wicked into the slots by the hinge and lock it all in place.. Happy flying!

    Not really sure what I am doing wrong with mine. I can't get a successful launch or balance. I have the AR Mini and it launches like a dream. I have been through two frames and now they are both glued and laminated to try and get stable but not having any luck. Wish there was someone local that had a working one so I could get some tips but no one local to me has even broken theirs out of their boxes. Will try again but once I break the two frames I give up and will move all of the electronics to something else.

      Not sure what's wrong as with the CG in the right placement and a nice high throttle level for Autolaunch it works well. See my video on how I set up Autolaunch. You still need a decent, level throw that isn't going to rotate the model like a Frisbee though. Best of luck

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  2 года назад

      That depends. The PNP comes with a 2216 1400KV motor with an 8x5 prop. I'd use something like eCalc to see what the results are for the two setups. Looking at some of the other popular setups 1400KV seems to be a common choice and the original setup was designed to be very efficient out of the box.. Best of luck!

    I bought one, PNP version. Have I’ve been ripped off? The box says KIT, and nothing is preinstalled although the PNP part are included separately. The servos are not metal gear unlike stated in the specifications sheet in the box. The ailerons are warped and the tip of one aileron is badly bent. Wouldn’t a PNP version come with preinstalled servos and horns, with motor and ESC also preinstalled? I got the PNP version from AliExpress, the BangFPV Store. Can I send a few pics to you? I’d appreciate your opinion.

    • @Painless360

      See my video on it where I unbox my PNP version where everything came installed. It us odd that the box says kit. Sounds like they just added some electronics into a kit box and shipped it... Weirdly this is how the Eachine version ships too... What is ZOHD doing I wonder?

    • @kenspaceman3938
      @kenspaceman3938 3 года назад

      I checked the advertisement. Sadly it says the PNP kit is the basic AR Wing Pro KIT, with the power pack added and uninstalled motor, ESC and so on. Still, the ad states metal gear servos included and the ailerons really are defective. I started a dispute on AliExpress. Let’s see what they suggest. Pretty disappointed, since I really wanted PNP, metal gear servos and good quality wings(ailerons). I have other zohd PNP kits, they came preinstalled and the epp parts were in mint condition.

Since this is our first iNav model [after years of Betaflight on quads] I've been searching for a sample iNav tune to get started with. Things like autolaunch setting and pitch/roll mixes are a bit foreign. Did you even publish your iNav tune for the AR Wing Pro, or is there one out there you'd recommend? All help greatly appreciated. CHeers!

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  Год назад

      The default setting in INAV will get you flying. There are issues using another pilots tune on fixed wing, even more than copying PIDs on a quad. For it to work the layout, CG, throws, servo midpoints, flying style and setup need to be identical. Autotune is easy to do and tuning isn't as critical on a fixed wing compared to a Quad. Happy flying
