Dragon Ball Sparking Zero's anime expo event has the newset updated demo builds available to play which revealed to us Ultra Instinct Sign Goku and Rose Goku Black new gameplay as well as allowing people who attend booths early access to show the world their gameplay
Bandai had allowed people to play Dragon Ball Sparking Zero at Anime expo before revealing the 1 hour of new game information soon to come!

Regardless the beam clashes look more annoying than anything. For several reasons
Spinning the analog was a sure fire way to break your controller. Went thru 3 controllers cause the analog stick broke from beam struggles
I used my ps5 controller to play RB1 and it has stick drift now bc of beam clashes after about 20 hours of gameplay
I hate it. The new way is better.
I'd be so cool if they have that animation, where you beat your opponent with a kamehameha and you actually can see the blast leaving earth traveling across space.
Imagine hiding in a building from a giant and using a warp Kamehameha to jumpscare the other player😂

One thing I liked about xenoverse is that you actually felt like a saiyan , or whatever character you chose I loved that fact that you could hold the button down and make your power attack stronger or just to do it quickly for a combo or a counter, and how much control you had over your avatar. So much freedom . 2 different games but still something I enjoyed

Its not planetary destruction until we see the explosion from space, like in most DBZ games, and the beams in space like FighterZ.
Obviously going Classic, but i what to try standed with a turbo feature controller to see how unbeatable you can be in clashes

What would be amazing is if they could fight in the outer sphere of earth
Kind of random but id love a challenge mini game where you have to deflect beams to save the earth maybe as a way to learn to do it consistently
Hopefully manga characters like Moro & Gas will make it in the game and Black Frieza will be a secret final boss
One thing I don’t like about the beams is just how skinny they are PAUSE but they’re just really slim and don’t really look powerful you know
Why do you think Classic would be better suited for competitive play? If anything Standard seems better with Revenger counter requiring less inputs.
There are a lot of nice looking dust effects but no explosions. Like in DBZ Kakarot. Some attacks should have explosions, like the Big Bang Attack, and Spirit Bomb.
I hope they add a Planet zoomed out camera where the planets get crushed. And these clashes with the 360 camera should be steady
I believe the mashing and spinning the stick is to get extra damage for the clashes. You actually win the clash with a timed button press. The first part of the clash

Im using standard controls and proving all yall metas wrong. I was a beast in Tenkaichi, fighting 5 enemies with 1 enemy at 3 health bars. Yall gon have to see me, respectfully. All smoke is welcomed.
I'm definitely going classic but will also give standard a try. Maybe they will allow/implement an option to use buttons for clashes for classic controls. I know what they already put out about it but here's hoping.
Am I the only one who feels like the planet destruction is gonna' be annoying? The fact that half the beams in the game are gonna' cause a cutscene to play when by all rights that beam should not be blowing a planet up just seems like it's gonna' get old pretty quickly. I feel like only certain _huge_ attacks (like big death ball-style moves) should do it, not a fucking Final Flash from Trunks.
I mean honestly if by the Saiyan Saga Goku and Vegeta could break planets lowkey it seems lore accurate that everyone can past that point 💀 /s

Why would they waste time fully modeling the building interiors if they'll just get destroyed anyways? Of course they're gonna be empty.

@@LevTheChosenOne I feel like that's just extra entities that need to be rendered. It's entirely possible that sticking those sorts of things in every floor of every building might tank performance.
Really not something worth doing that's ultimately trivial.
I really don’t understand why they added indoor fighting tbh. Has there ever been a fight in Dragon Ball that was inside of a building? Other than the Muscle Tower stuff

I was a little annoyed when this got announced since we already have a fighting game with this style in xenoverse 2 and for those who want a 2d fighter we have fighterz, which I like both those but they already have exposure in this current gaming scene. I wanted a game with the style of budokai and burst limit to be made. However after seeing the beauty of this game, the explosions, ki blasts, the smoke effects and water effects, the roster of characters and for the first time ever, large building destruction that doesn't appear scripted, I can wait a while longer
Street fighter is not a good example because doesn't modern controls take away attacks for easier use? I can't imagine that'd be the case for sparking zero
Those beam clashes will destroy the analogs i would go with standard controls.

How do you feel about beam clashes in this game? Because me and a lot of other people really dont like the animation, the spin is nauseating and doesnt show the actual clash very much, do you think itd be better if they changed it.
I think people are gonna go with modern controls so they can use modded turbo controllers and auto win all their clashes

Honestly, I'm likely gonna choose Classic just cause it's what I'm use to, given I still play BT3 and RB2 at times to this day, so why change to a whole new control scheme to relearn instead of just using what I know?, lol.
The only annoyance will be the analog stick spin for clashing, since it's so stupidly easy for PS5 controllers to be afflicted with Stick Drift, cheap piece of crap, lol.
Idk if it’s just me but the game seems to soft like the combos are too repetitive atm idk if I just haven’t seen any proper good gameplay but all I’ve seen is a little combo a kick away then slam down idk
The combos are exactly the same as bt3.
It’s only that one planet that can get destroyed so far stop making it seem like it’s on multiple maps that’s not confirmed
