Make a Fuel Injector Wiring Harness

- I am converting my blue GLH to turbo so I need an injector harness. I made one with some Delphi connectors and terminals. At the same time I ran everything for the O2 sensor which will go on the same side of the motor.
If you take your time things are pretty straight forward with electrical projects such as this. I still have a long way to go, but this was a critical step toward having the car running under multi-point EFI sequential injection power.
very informative, you made it very easy to understand how simple things should be. I love the way you explain things, you made it so easy to understand. Thanks
Thanks for watching and for the kind words!
I am just finishing up the injector wire harness for my 84 Jaguar XJS. My was a look scarier. anyhow for the wiring diagram I set up a board and attached the old harness and followed the old wires individually to make the new. but then we are talking more wire and injectors, for the new colors ( kept part of the original ones connected to the connector block) I took pictures. digital cameras are great.
What did we do before the digital cameras? What a life saver.
I have thought about making a board to do whole wiring harnesses, but I haven't gotten around to it. I'm glad to see that someone else has actually followed through on that. Nice work.
Hi please help how do i know which is the sensor wire from the ecu to a 4 wire o2? The last wire i have left splices into the injectors is that correct it also gives 12v when engine switched on? Is that the sensor wire thankyou for your help from the uk....ps i just cant find a hijet 1.3
What year car is this for?
@@bwcordes hi there i found the sensor wire someone had cut it of and hidden it prob because it ran better witbout it, then somebody else came along saw two other spare wires 12v and a ground wire and attached those instead, the sensor wire i found had a negative wire running within its shielding i used tbis for the semsor ground i hope thats correct as i cant find a separate sensor ground wire?.... thankyou for any help
@@jcreswick Here is a good read about the O2 sensors. I would ground it at a good location near the engine and call it a day.

What size wire gaue did you use
I generally like to go up a size, but since this was 16 and 18ga, I believe I just made everything 16ga for the injectors.
@@bwcordes 😆 2 weeks lol now u respond
@@whitelighting4815 Better late than never! I actually think the system to reply to comments in the "creator studio" is broken. There are a ton of comments I've replied to that aren't showing up right now. Sorry about that.
What is the name of your crimper tool?
+Brian 0508
It's a Paladin 1300 series crimper.
Thank you...
You have a good narrator's voice if you don't use "go ahead" quite so much. Maybe "let's try" or "let's assemble or Let's mount, solder", etc....
You should see my explosives video. I'll go ahead and post the link. Thanks for the constructive criticism and comment!
