    We bought this ambulance at an auction on Ebay for $9,100, we took 7 months to convert this ambulance into our tiny house on wheels. We documented the whole process so make sure to watch those videos to see how it went: the highs and the lows of converting a vehicle into a camper! We are so proud of the final results of our ambulance. We wanted to keep a clean, minimal aesthetic inside to make the space look bigger! We love how simple and elegant it looks inside but also feels cozy and homie. If you love vanlife vlogs, van builds vlogs or roadtrips across the USA, Canada and Mexico. This channel is for you! We are documenting our travels in our ambulance camper, so follow along our journey!

    Awesome video, guys! I followed your build and I'm glad you guys are out enjoying it now! Just an FYI, the 3-ton jack stand you have is undersized. The 3-ton rating is for a pair of stands, so each is only 1.5 tons. They may work okay and not collapse if you are not getting under the lifted section, but I wouldn't trust anyone's life/limb to them.🙂

    • @stephandmicah
      @stephandmicah  9 месяцев назад

      Good to know! But we’re never lifting the entire vehicle. Also we use those in addition to an 8 ton bottle jack. All three points of contact with the wheels chocked should be more than enough.

    Love your build! We too did a dirty laundry chute which is a huge help keeping the space uncluttered. One of the things I put on our wall is a corkboard-it allowed me to hang pictures, postcards and other items from our travels and gives it a homey feel!

    I have LOVED watching this home on wheels come together. You guys are awesome; what an incredible job!
    I think a long viney plant (like a pothos) strung up to the ceiling or a wall (perhaps with command hooks?) would add a homey touch, but that may just be my love for plants speaking 🤔
    Also, I absolutely died at Micah's old man groan while reaching for the camera, after he'd just pulled his entire body weight up onto the roof no problem 😂

    Hi Steph and Micah. I just found (this past week) your channel, Love it. I have to be one of your newest subscribers. I too have a 2003 Ford 7.3 Diesel which I am in the process of converting. What is really interesting is that my rig has basically the same outside color scheme ( two large yellow stripes and white, I love it.) as yours does. I really love that roof rack you have above the cab. I thought in one of your videos that you said (I think) that you would go into greater detail about the roof rack but I haven't come across it yet. If so, can you tell me which video that would be in and if not, can you tell me where you got it, brand name and maybe what you paid for it. I love what you two have done with yours and am in the process of binging on your videos. Love your videos, be safe and have fun. I think one of the best things I like about your videos is how down to earth you both are. You both come across as very personable, easy going and further that you don't come across as uppity or condescending. I wish you two the best.

      Hey there! That's so fun that you're starting your build! Thank you for your support!
      As for the roof rack, we built it ourselves out of unistrut. I believe its a part of our electrical build video here -> ruclips.net/video/dGD62N6SvYw/видео.htmlsi=6sIdQmVpDl-N4RvN . All in all it probably only cost us about $300
