87th is total defense which is completely irrelevant compared to Scoring Defense, which UT is ranked 22nd in. After all do teams win based off of which team gives up less yards (total defense) or points (scoring defense)??
Never understood peoples infatuation with total defense or total offense statistics. Theoretically you could give up 500 yards of offense yet not give up a single point and vice verse gain 500 yards on offense yet not score a single point.

As someone who goes to Alabama and was sitting front row of the student section at the A&M game, it was the most hype thing I’ve ever been a part of but that was because I think we were all genuinely thinking we were gonna lose that game it was a weird feeling

Alabama can afford this loss and still make the playoffs. Bryce Youngs injury seems like it'd be easily re-aggravated. losing to #6 Tennessee isn't bad. but if Young goes down for good its a meltdown.

Bama Defense is the best defense in the country! Tennessee defense is not good, they hadn’t played a good running offense. Weather Bryce Young play or not, Bama will win. It will just be a close game. This Alabama defense is about to show you why they are a championship defense. If the Jalen Milroe doesn’t turn the ball over then Bama will win. Also nobody is talking about the fact that Texas A&M got back the next best interior lineman for the NFL draft outside of the lineman from Georgia who is out. Plus there too safety. This will either be a blowout or a close game with Bama winning depending on who the QB. If Milroe plays like he did in the Arkansas game then it will be a blowout either way.

I think TN will do it, especially if Alabama don't get Young back. Paul is right(though I don't normally agree with him) that Alabama was LUCKY to get past TAM and UT, but I think this will be the game they lose. Not to mention I think will finally be the year TN puts a 1 next to that 15-0 Alabama has over them in previous meetings.

Personally this is me. If young isn’t 100% healthy Saban needs to bench him and wait till the Mississippi state game,because if he get hits the right way to the shoulder the injury will only get worst and young could be out for a month or so. I also don’t think Alabama needs to beat Tennessee in order to go to Atalanta so why risk any further injuries to young when you don’t need too.
Also If they do play him and he’s not 100% how well can he throw the ball.

If Tennessee can score first and/or leverage Bama into being one dimensional-there’s a chance, but Bama is still gonna eat against that secondary. And if Bama is up more than a TD, God bless.

Alabama did not win with Young. He got smacked around a little I hope he’s ok. This weekend has given a lift to College Football it came alive again this weekend. Yea some people got humbled. Shows like Uncle Lou, Pig Skin Pete, Carolina Jackpot, Big Dawg Brett. Watching them embarrass themselves is fun. They will trash talk your team in a heart beat.
