If, like us, you would prefer to double the size in a short period of time, isn't it a bit too late, as it seems to be our May or so scene? Or if you intend to spend a money in September and October to warm up the ponds, I can't say anything but. ......

I'm pretty sure it would be best to do this when doing the end of year clean and disinfect? End of Autumn/Start of winter so October/November seems like a good time.
Just when you have cut down considerably on your feeding and all the plants are dying back.

I think this is a temperate pond. No heating in winter.

@@andreashessler838 Well, this also depends on experience, but if you can improve your observation skills and pay attention to their small changes, you will naturally learn the timing. To be honest, this is much more important than water quality testing practices!!

Yes, my main pond is unheated, and only my grow on system is heated.
