I have been playing with it the last year and love it. Formerly played with Solinco & RPM. (5.5 rating). Arm feels great, IMO if the string hurts your arm, a poly “plastic” is probably just not for you and should use synthetic + lower tension.
Great review guys. Appreciate your testing diligence and looking forward to your long term report. I tend to agree with most of your points, I get great depth, spin and power when strung at somewhat lower tensions (48 lbs) on my forehand if I swing full out, but my flatter 2 handed backhand is a bit of an adjustment and balls sometimes fly or can be unpredictable, partially or mostly because i am too. But I do like much more than Toroline Wasabi, another highly touted string, in my Ezone 100.
are you still going to do a long term review on this string? I'm guessing from the top 5 strings video, it's held up. just wondering how you found tension maintenance/differences b/w the guages? and if Josh was able to find control w/ this string?
Yes - it’s on Bens list, we are just testing ReStrings new string ‘Sync’ and then we’ll be focusing on some longer term strong reviews. Yes I have and I do enjoy Zero immensely (Altho my hot take on Sync, is that it may be better!!) Josh
You were parroting from their marketing pamphlet with all that OTT eco nonsense and making it sound like its the greatest string ever when there are LOADS of other shaped polys that play well (and for a lower cost). Sorry, but I'm not going to buy anything from you ever again - you guys have lost all credibility for me. Unsubscribed. @@ph-tennis
You're a RUclips channel wanting clicks and views, and a shop that sells products for profit. You're therefore biased whether you're consciously aware of it or not.
@@svlagonda7417 but we don’t sell this product… And we have no affiliation to any brand in particular, so I’d strongly argue that we are not bias whatsoever
You don't have to sell the product to produce a biased review you donuts. You're a tennis shop, they're a potential supplier, other suppliers will be watching etc. It's in you're interests to keep them sweet. Your review is so OTT ridiculous. Look at how someone who is objective reviews this string eg. Open Court Tennis @@ph-tennis
Great review. I live in Australia and paid to get this string shipped over. Like you said you just have to try it to see if it is for you. Personally I really liked it. I also love PTP and had the same feeling switching between the two. There is a good chance I will buy a reel. Keep up the good honest reviews and forget the doubters.
What?? This string is not carbon neutral or sustainable at all. Its plastic and takes hundreds of years to degrade. It's only the cardboard packet that's recyclable. You need to get your facts straight instead of peddling misinformation
We appreciate the passion and concern Caroline. Here’s what we know: As a company ReString is a fully Carbon-neutral business - check their website for more information. They up-cycle old string - again, more information on their site. They have multiple Sustainability projects and initiatives. So yes, while a plastic string has ecological ramifications, ReString seem to be doing all they can to minimise this impact. Hopefully this goes some way to dispel the idea that we’re “peddling misinformation”.
What a load of nonsense. There's no way you can produce a load of non-biodegradable plastic and be ecologically friendly or sustainable. What do you think happens to that plastic and where do you think the energy comes from to power the machines that produce and then extrude the plastic and transport it? You can also buy carbon credits across the supply chain (I work in the energy sector) and greenwash your footprint through offsetting. It doesn't mean that you're ecologically friendly or sustainable @@ph-tennis
The carbon offsetting industry is laughable because they don’t actually cancel out - er, offset - the emissions to which they are linked. I'm an oil company - I destroy a rain forest and all the animals within it to pump for oil, with my pollution leaking into the air/streams or ground water that then slowly poisons the local population who start prematurely dying of various diseases 10 or 20 years later. Buying some cardon credits from a company to plant a few extra trees in Norway doesn't offset the damage I've done does it?
@@ph-tennisI'm sure other companies are also trying their best to reduce the impact of selling plastic, I imagine they get huge fines if they don't. I just don't get how this company claims to be super eco friendly. It just sounds like a marketing approach. My point is that there trying to be seen as special and eco friendly, when they most likely are the same as any other plastic company.
Pretty sad that you feel you have to delete the comments that highlight how the supposed eco credentials are nonsensical. I won't be recommending your company to anyone I know.
These internet product promotions are SOOOOO tiresome. Why are you reviewing a string that isn't available in the UK. Don't review something just because of marketing, paid internet influencers etc. People would have to import this string from the US, pay for extra postage, customs fees, VAT etc. It's also a mediocre string - nothing you couldn't get from any other shaped poly in the UK. So few RUclipsrs have any true impartiality anymore. Just sheep following sheep.
Love your enthusiasm. However, this is in no way a promotion and we are completely, 100% impartial. Other subscribers had commented on how good the string is so we got in touch with ReString to get some samples so we could try it for ourselves. We are also hoping to be able to stock and distribute the string so those in the UK can see how good it is for themselves 👍🏽
I refuse to buy anything from this company on principle as no way should any company that basically sells plastic that can take hundreds of years to degrade should ever be trying to jump on the 'eco friendly' band wagon to try and sell their products. The carbon offsetting industry is also pretty much a joke and no way compensates for environmental damage already done.
Totally appreciate your standpoint and your passion. Out of interest (and in a market that is terrible for the things you’re passionate about), what string are you happy buying?
I have no issue with any companies selling tennis strings, I just won't support a company that tries to sell them based on a nonsensical eco-friendly premise. @@ph-tennis
From the United Nations website: "Plastic waste can take anywhere from 20 to 500 years to decompose, and even then, it never fully disappears; it just gets smaller and smaller. Consider this figure: 8.3 billion tonnes is the total amount of plastic ever made, half of which has been produced in the last 13 years. Microplastics in particular have been found in every corner of the globe, from the peak of Mount Everest to the trough of the Mariana Trench. In fact, it has been estimated that humans ingest a credit card worth of plastic per week!"

Hi, how does restring zero compares to yonex polytour rev?
Hi are their any online discount codes, your UK shipping is way to expensive for this
Very plasticky string that's harsh on the arm. I didn't like it.
It’s a polyester string, yes it’s plastic lol
You need a soft racquet or lower tension using this string then. It is not marketed for feel but for long play time.
what tension do you recommend for zero on pure aero rafa?
I would start at 50lbs and go from there! So many personal variables to consider I’m afraid… Josh
I feel like an idiot for having to ask this but is the 1.23 or the 1.28 thinner? is it mm or gauge?
It's the mm. 1.23 is thinner.
Not worth the money IMO. Yonex PTS and MSV Focus Hex are basically the same sort of thing but at less than half the price.

I believe this is why it's called recycled strings. They can melt it down and reuse them.
