The Shangri-Las Give Him a Great Big kiss remix w Lloyd Thaxton

This is definitely a hybrid remix of the original.
The Shangri-las, best known for Leader Of The Pack, were a NY/Queens group whose hits were molded by Shadow Morton, who also wrote and produced their hits, like the fabulous Remember (Walking in the Sand) and this: Give Him A Great Big Kiss which peaked at #18 in the early part of ´64. Lead singer, Mary Weiss was only 15 when she signed to the soon to be defunct Red Bird Records. (apparently Billy Joel was the session pianist on Remember Walking in the Sand)! Writer & Producer George Shadow Morton is worth looking up on Wikipedia. Lloyd Thaxton had a well watched afternoon music show that mixed some silliness with many great 60´s acts.
