- Hersheypark's newest addition is a roller coaster in the all-new Chocolatetown entranceway at the Pennsylvania theme park. The tallest coaster at the theme park is finally here! An Ultra-HD POV, Front Seat Virtual On Ride, 2020. A hyper roller coaster that goes out and then back into the park to interact with pathways and terrain in one of the most beautifully placed coasters at any park we've ever been to. Wrapping itself around the entranceway's new "Kissing Fountain" is the chocolate-colored attraction, with three different trains each themed to Hershey candy. The Chocolate Town entranceway is a brand new area inside the park, with incredible homage's to the city of Hershey and Milton Hershey hidden around the area from the architecture to smaller details on the buildings and pathways. Omg! I rode candymonium yesterday and it was terrifying! That first drop is INTENSE!!! It's bouncing you around like crazy too!

@@michaeltoobased these hypers have almost no rattle, I think he means getting sent out of his seat from airtime and not actual bouncing

I hadn’t ridden coasters in a long time. Candymonium was my first one back. That drop was unreal. Felt my stomach in my neck.
Nice! I did a video talking about my experience at Hersheypark since it was my first time there and I officially met my girlfriend there. One of my favorite highlights from my time there was definitely getting to ride Candymonium. I was on it with my sister and her boyfriend and we were on the front seats of the blue train that you guys were on. Really love that coaster a whole lot and I enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely would love to ride again anytime soon. :)
This is the best roller coaster at Hershey Park!!! I loved it so much I rode it twice. The night ride in the pitch darkness is epic! Feels like you're going twice as fast! You get some nice airtime off of it too.

It’s a great ride but there are lockers that are free for the 2 hours of Hershey’s opening
Oh it is a great Hyper, riding it up front you get some floater airtime, but middle you get a lot of floater airtime and this thing is super smooth! Possibly the smoothest coaster there.

@@RY30DM My home park is Carowinds. You can be in line at Fury and still hear the roar of Afterburn from the other side of the park. Must be something specifically with the invert models.
Every coaster POV video needs a pair of legs on it so we can see the negative G forces in action! I really brings home the experience when watching on a monitor ;)

Man! Due to the lack of good coasters in Brazil, I had NO IDEA the legs going up was a Negative G force effect! Thought it was the person doing on purpose aahahaaha! Thx for that comment!! Looking forward to travel in the next years and ride many coasters in Europe and North America

Looking at this video reminds me of when I went on this coaster for a school trip. My first ever roller coaster! Love it and would go on it again if I could.

this roller coaster was my first ever roller coaster (that i recall) and i only tried it because i didn’t see the drop at the beginning. Probably the best thing I’ve accidentally done

Yes! The first one I saw made it look pokey, and uninspiring. This one looks like: "I have to ride this thing NOW!".
I just went on it yesterday. It was a lot of fun but I was super scared because it was the first roller coaster I had been on in Hershey for years. I Closed my eyes and missed out. But after that I went on a bunch of other roller coasters and had the best day ever

It was my second ‘real’ rollercoaster after great bear
I was more scared of the guy on the intercom yelling about putting on and taking off seatbelts.
My mom screamed the whole time, so did my best friend who we took with us.

As of now a got 5 night rides on Candymonium yesterday and it was awesome and made the ride feel more intense. I want Hershey to keep Candymonium and Wildcats Revenge and build a Giga along with them

I got on this first and around 3pm , the sun is right at the top of the lift hill , looked like we were going to the sky n then that drop gets you lol

riding a coaster with bare feet, is the grossest thing ever. Just imagine walking onto the ride through the dirty station.

I think they may have had sandals on and took them off for the ride so they wouldn't fly off ahaha
their sandals or slides were taken off on the platform. hersheypark doesn’t allow guests to walk around barefooted.

i am new to coastering it was my first time at hershy park ands i coquered my fear on the sky rush and went to the wilcats revenge then farenhight and finaly this gem of a coaster i had a blast+

The color looks great. It’s some ways its better then Mako in airtime and speed. People say that Mako has better airtime but they rode this ride when it was cold and probably not in the summer

I went to Hershey Park about 7 days ago and cuz my foot was broken I couldn't go on that ride and I have a little bit of fear of roller coasters and I'm so glad I broke my foot

Hershey has great legit rides like SixFlags. Candymonium is one of the better B&M Hyper coasters. I want Hershey to get a giga in 5-10 years along with every ride there

My goodness the park is empty. What day did you go? We went on Saturday Sept 5th (Labor Day weekend) and it was insanely packed. They said the park wasn’t even at 25% capacity, but it seemed full to me!
my line was not bad it was abt a 20 minute wait and extremely worth it

This is a pretty long ride and it’s a average length for a B&M Hyper Coaster and when i rode it at night it felt super long but faster

Here's a tip for people going on their first rollercoaster DONT DO IT I had never been on a rollercoaster before until today when I got on this and I swear my soul jumped out of me after the first drop

Lap bar I’ve been on it lots of air times kids love it I loved it too we have fast pass so we can go on it when ever you may need to buy fast pass because of insane lines fast pass is $150 lines are 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you are nervous about heights don’t go on it it’s scary for people scared of heights you need to be a at least 4’ 8’ or more to go on
i went on it for my first roller coaster ever, i’m never going on a roller coaster again.
