I'm glad someone pointed you guys to this song. It was one of the first well-known and thought-provoking songs about mental health. This was from his second album, "American Pie" released in 1971. I saw Don in concert in 1973 when he toured Australia, and I will always remember it. At one point, he broke a guitar string and while he replaced it, he sang a song without any musical accompaniment. He made it look effortless because he has perfect pitch and his voice seemed so natural and soothing. His first album, "Tapestry" also has some great songs on it, such as "Castles in the Air" and "And I Love You So". Thanks guys.

He basically did it while finding calmness through insanity. Which is something I can't imagine, but I very much appreciate. So I would definitely check some of these out. I am, of course, familiar with American pie being as Waylon Jennings was the bass player for. Buddy Holly. and it was Waylon's ticket on the plane that the Big Bopper ended up getting. Waylon Never got over that. We have a piece about that song, but I've never done that song. So we might do that song as well. He looks all that up while we're sitting there while I'm getting everything ready.
