The Netflix reality series 'Squid Games The Challenge' is based off of an original show that went viral last year. Aurora Lofton, aka Player 399, participated in this show filmed in London earlier this year. Now that the series has gone live there has been a lot of attention on the contestants. Player 399 had an eventful exit on the series followed by a feud with a fellow contestant. She is joining the podcast to share the truths about the show, production, and her dramatic exit. the girl who stole a whole hamburger made me so mad 🙃 especially cause she was judging that guy who took two dinners the episode before. that whole scene was just annoying.
Selfish people are VERY good at recognizing the trait in others. My first job, this one girl was so lazy, and she'd always spend her energy watching others and talking about work tasks, and trying to assign things to other people.

@ju.bac04 Yeah, they really edited it to make that girl look like she was being selfish and greedy. Not only did he let her have the hamburger, but she also shared it with others. And now she gets a ton of online hate. These reality shows just love to fuel hate amongst viewers, so they always have to pick people to turn into villains. What makes this particular show worst is that their good and bad edits seem to have been race and gender driven.

I was completely confused why everyone was shocked that Mai chose her to be eliminated. She wasn't fair during the bridge challenge.

I was most pissed when that one lady wouldn’t jump on the glass floor and Trey went multiple times because he didn’t want to compromise everyone else . Since selfish lady refused someone else should’ve stepped up. She had to jump forward once he fell anyways. I would have refused to moved until she jumped at least 2 more times. I would’ve died on that hill just for justice sake. I’m a Libra can y’all tell? lol

First of all, she was not stubborn because, the last time we checked, his game was played, not hers, and he cheated because he did not play by the rules they agreed on. Second of all, she was not in the wrong because she tried to play fair and come up with something that works for both of them. My issue with the dude is that he was trying to manipulate her and being hypocritical. He had two options - be silent or be manipulative. I'm not saying he should have given in and compromise but he should NOT have been manipulative.

Girl, you know what he said that. As soon as women, especially us, start to demand respect even when we're soft spoken, we get told that we're attacking men or lighter skinned women. We're always yelling when we're not doing what they expect of us.
I watched this show w my 9 year old and my son hit pause and said “omg! he’s gaslighting her and projecting everything HE is actually doing onto her!” I’ve never been so proud.
She was trying to compromise and pick other options and he didn’t want to compromise nothing & only wanted to do throwing or nothing. He was being rude and condescending. People who don’t see that he this wrong something is wrong with you.
She completely refused to play fair and decided to wait until the last 2 min to decide on something and the fact she made it first doesn’t mean she moves forward that wasn’t the rules of the game. 🤡

Honestly she’s pretty smart for realizing the advantage would be in marbles you get to skip that game. If only she stuck to her gut on not having a partner
its interesting to think that maybe the advantage was telling the guy that if he isn't paired up during the picnic, he'd pass. Which would then lead to an interesting dynamic of people being suspicious why he doesn't want a partner.

Yea for a bunch of people who watched the show they all paired up with people they liked way too fast… as soon as they said pick someone to share a picnic with I’d like to think I’d realize that we were obviously about to get pitted against each other… if I had one ally I certainly wouldn’t sit with them knowing they were likely going to do that thing where they have you pick teams a couple times and the the third or fourth time you’re actually picking your adversaries… especially if it’s a potential one on one scenario that late in the game

I mean, they have to get all kinds of shots up close, wide angles, dramatic panning, so it would make sense. Esp if they planned and wanted to eliminate half of the contestants with it.
Red light green light seemed so fake and scripted but after hearing it was like 20+ minutes that they had to stay still makes a lot more sense
They had to use human judges to go over 450 clips to make sure who was going to be eliminated.

It is crazy that anyone would think that she was in the wrong though.
I could tell just by looking at the players that during red light green light it was SO COLD. It also made me wonder why that one player stood in a squat and couldn’t hold it, making it look like she was only stuck like that for 30 seconds.

And he’s proved that as he continues to advocate for his poor behaviour. Watching this interview made me actually fall in love with Aurora!!! She is reasonable and so empathetic to him when he doesn’t deserve it. She conducted herself so much better than most of us would!!! What a shame she got such a terrible partner.

The CRAZIEST thing to me was that for the Glass Game, the players didn't actually fall, instead, they squated to make it look like they were falling (to then be removed from sets)

For the cookie cutting game I don’t understand why they made it the way they did. They should have done it where you picked a random number like they did to pick the order on the bridge. Then have that number assigned to a certain design cookie. Unless they were doing it to create drama and chaos, in which case what they did worked.
27:28 they should’ve gave everyone random shapes regardless of the choice or line. Everyone was being unfair and manipulative because they didn’t want a certain shape which was lame.

I love her, and i was furious, FURIOUS when dylan 067 made them both lose. He's an ahole! I strongly did not like him. I didn't like ashley (278) at all either..but i loved mia and chad probably the most,along with phill roland ,TJ and his mom, and trey, but i didn't like sam at all either. I know its a game but so many people just as in the movie, kept their humanity. I guess the movie and game version are similar in that way.. but as the viewer we always root for the good guy over the bad guy. That's just the way it is. So of course everyone is mad at ashley

Ashley was too ignorant to understand critical thinking on the bridge. Original rules she had literally a 1/ billion chance of surviving being that close to the front. With the new group rules her chances were upped to 50/50. But she somehow thought makinf Tre jump repeatedly would up her chances. She didn't help herself at all playing it like this. She only helped people in the back lowering their chance that they would have to jump. Then she magically agrees to the new group rules once she jumps once. Selfish ignorant person. 😂
It is obvious why he picked her. He knew that throwing the marbles would give him as a baseball player an advantage, and he picked someone who he thought wasn't as good at it. But she was clever and knew immediately that she wouldn't have much of a chance at that discipline. And obviously he underestimated her at many levels, he thought he could push her into that game against her will.
