  • Today’s detailed Cities Skylines 2 build will be showing what’s possible with the new and updated mods from the community’s hugely talented modders. This detailing build will cover how to build an Auto Salvage Yard or Junk Yard. It will be heavy on surface and decal use and while we’re at it, we’ll address some of the garbage issues the city has been facing too.

    The garbage capacity can be seen increasing as you increase the area, even outside of the radius. The radius is just a limiter for balancing purposes, it's all functional space, mathematically decided.

      True, but they wouldn't use it. Without a destination they wouldn't have any reason to use it. 😃 I could have maybe sneaked in a little industrial unit or two at the back to give them a place to drive to. 👍

    I've been trying to figure out how to do a junkyard like this for my Florida build (seriously... they're everywhere down here!) but was struggling to find a good way to do the junk cars, thanks a ton for the inspo!

      Nice one, glad to be of some help Oddhur. The cars have a habit of disappearing for me, so make sure you put them all down with anarchy on, and I'd recommend using the elevation lock too. I'm sure I've came across your channel, so I'll keep an eye out and look forward to seeing what you come up with 😊👍

      @@piccana_ the despawning is likely due to conflict of the surface, so that's to be expected, but I'll definitely remember to use elevation lock. Out of curiosity which mod did you use for the junkyard cars? I may have missed it if you mentioned the specific mod.
