One tip about Anacrylics It is more of a pat pat motion and meant to be molded instead of sliding it. I have Anacrylics and I ran into the same problem as you until I started seeing more of her content noticing how she works it down, I seen a video saying it is also meant for a one bead method.
Good for you giving your honest opinion! So many times people are scared to share their honest opinions on here and I’m really glad you do! Really appreciate that 👏🏻

The last few years i've stuck ton polygel or hardgel, but this week I thought it was about time I gave acrylic a shot! BUT I am proper shocked at the prices that some of these companies are charging! Once you realise that soooooo many of these companies actually have the same supplier and obviously the same acrylic, its just all the different companies packaging that is different it really makes me unsure what to buy! Buy after reading this I will be trying the NP range. I had been looking at kiara sky but that shit is pricyyyyy! 🥰
Oh wow I wanted to try the Anna acrylics so bad cause so Many people kept talking about how amazing it is and that it goes on like butter and all this stuff but I trust your opinion for sure.....omg those nail house ones were so freaking amazing this is just beautiful colors
With Anacrylics your brush just needs to be wetter. Ana even shows how to use her acrylics in videos. I would definitely do more research than listening to ONE person who doesn’t like them.
With Anacrylics you just need to make sure it goes smooth on the brush before applying to the nail... and also don't apply it like a paint. It's meant to be molded onto the nail not painted.. if you don't know how to apply acrylic in general , anacrylics will seem horrible. I have 2 of her color sets and they blend perfectly fine , apply perfectly fine. You just0 have to make sure it polmerzises to a smooth consistency before applying to the nail.
I really wanted to like it but it's total crap. Does not go on like butter. The pigment separates from the acrylic, it's blotchy & lumpy. Edit: after reading the replies I want to go ahead & say I tried everything you're suggesting. Just did not work. Maybe I just got a shitty batch. Who knows. I don't approve tho.
I have the "Sugar Effect" and it is raw fine glitter.. I think they used the acrylic packaging for it but it is raw glitter it has no acrylic powder that's why it is behaving that way. It is meant for sugar nails. I hope this helps 🙏. Love your vids btw

Literally I have about 55 acrylic powders and 98% of them are from Dynamic Nail Supply. I would love for you to try them and do a video review on it. ❤❤❤
Your beads need to be a little wetter too! Thatll help you a lot. Also turn the bead toward the ceiling right after you pick it up on your brush and let it settle a bit. You’re working with super dry beads on the glitters and the ones that are sticking to your brush that’s because you aren’t letting it settle first.

Wow so I am beginner at acrylics and I am just about to put in an order and was wondering what powder to get I think I'm going to get the Sierra sky monomer because I trust it and I don't know nothing about it
The sugar effect from Not Polish isn’t mixed with acrylic, it is to use on top of the nail as a texture sugar glitter. Can I suggest trying not to wipe out all of the liquid from your brush, I use all of these brands and I noticed your beads where very dry when you picked them up and placed them in the swatch sticks. Not trying to be mean I promise just trying to help. It took me some time to get my liquid to powder ratio down but once I did it made a world of difference.
They should have like a box of all them products/ diff brands that you can buy " acrylic fun box" lol Im so sick of buying and searching for products so if i can get a YES YOU BUY IT BUT TRY THEM BEFORE BUYING MORE( ALL TOGETHER LIKE THAT) , WOULD BE COOL 🥺.. UR REVIEWS ARE GREAT 😃👍
You should do dynamic the packaging is nice and most importantly the product is amazing its literally been compared to notpolish and they're 8$ for 2oz 6$ for 1oz
Can you swatch on top of the swatch sticks instead? Because to really know if the acrylic would work for us we need to see how it polymerizes on TOP of the nail.
what type of monomer did you use for the Anacrylics? I've messaged her about 10 times (with no response) asking her which works best because I thought maybe it was my monomer I was using that caused me to not like her acrylic also.
@@SlayByJay I really need to watch the full video before commenting lmao 🤣 but I'm so sad you didn't like it. I've tried so many acrylic brands and for me anacrylics is my favorite. I need to text NotPolish tho I've been wanting to for such a long time!!
thank you for sharing ! You done made me a believer in NOT POLISHED I have been contemplating on spending money with them but after what I just seen im finna go crazy on their site lol What monomer were you using in this video??
Ana acrylics are control powders which they do require more monomer, a tip for them if you let them stay on your brush until the powder gets shiny they are easier to use. Just a suggestion because her acrylics have a lot of pigment in them so they do take some getting use to.
I’ve used Kiara Sky and I sold each one. I’ve mixed them up into a finer powder and I still didn’t like the consistency of them. Maybe I just got a bad batch.😢 What you are seeing with ana acrylics as well as what you have experienced with modelones is the same problems I had with my Kiara Sky acrylics.
Hi SlaybyJay, I don't know if you remember me but I just launched an acrylic powder line this year and it's definitely beginner friendly! I have swatch videos of the powders on my channel, Instagram and Tiktok. If you're interested in reviewing them please let me know. They are also still on sale for Black Friday!
You’re welcome girl! If your gonna spend ur hard earned money I would definitely pass on anacrylics and try not polish. You won’t be disappointed AT ALL! Only thing you’ll be in obsessed 😝 hehe
I like the ANACRYLICS but it's chalky especially the Valentine Collection Flirt it's sooooo chalky i can't use it it's super hard for me it's super chalky and i was looking for creamy buttery and i had a huge mess wasted paper towels and my BRUSH GIRL I HAVE NO WORDS I CANT STAND THAT 🤯🤯
Omg were twins and had the same experience! I’m glad I’m not coo-coo 😂 my brush was a mess, all the product on my paper towel and so chalky. Super disappointed!
@@SlayByJay I just meant the technique she recommended which was to pat instead of swipe, if that makes sense haha I’m still a super beginner so I didn’t mean anything negative by it. My cons with her brand is that it’s too slow setting, to the point where I’ll have my whole other hand done, think the other is done, go to file, and it’s coming completely off lol it also sticks to my brush horribly and I have to soak it monomer overnight.
@@lavenderandchaos yeah I ended up ruining my brush with anacrylics. The pigment separates from the acrylic making it blotchy. Doesn't matter if you pat or swipe (which i have seen her do in some videos, go straight into swiping, ending up with wasted product & barely any near the tip), let it set a bit first, use a wet or dry brush, etc etc etc. It's way, way too slow setting which I think is actually detrimental to the beginner rather than helpful. Hard not to end up with a lumpy mess after waiting forever. I wanted to like it. Didnt.
I’m waiting on my first Anacrylics Easter bundle and I’m waiting for Black Friday so I can get the not polish thanks so showing us this and giving us your honest review it help a lot.
SAME! I’ve been a polygel girl and I’ve dabbled into acrylic and just haven’t fallen in love until trying not polish has completely changed the game for me!
I’m sorry but looks and packaging doesn’t matter but the acrylic and how It works on the nails matter so I’m confused on why u felt the need to mention that but overall this helped me figure out what brands to buy thxxxx
Could you please make a video about what type of clear and white acrylics are best for beginners because I have alot of model ones and their white and clear is not the best
Ty for this video I'm just starting acrylic and mia secret was supposed to be the best not for me! Had the worst time with it. Now I see Valentino is the top one. But after this video not polish might be another I try. I'm done with Saviland acrylic and mia secret it's just not happening there for me.
No offense, but your beads are off so some of it’s not applying properly. Anacrylics is actually a really good brand. It’s not meant to be applied like regular acrylics
I’m curious, what would you have rated Nail House if it had good packaging? Would it have been a 5? Or 4.5? I have heard Not Polish is like butter. Vee Nailed It uses them all the time. I think she might be an ambassador now but I think she just became one recently. She’s been using them for a while. Edit: I’m gonna have to try Not Polish acrylic. I’m typically a builder gel kinda girl. I’ve only tried acrylic once, and I hated it. But it was definitely one of the cheaper brands from Amazon. I think Beetles. Now I’m going to have to try some Not Polish. I love my hard gel, but for things like ombré and encapsulation, I think acrylic definitely is the better option.
Yes I would have given Nail Hause a 4.5 for the better packaging! It was really good i was surprised! Not as good as Not Polish, but definitely as good as Kiara Sky. My friend just told me Nail Hause is having a huge sale because they are changing their packaging ironically lol 😝 I’ve seen Vee Nailed NP collection and I want it so bad! I usually use polygel but after trying these NP ones, it has given me so much confidence because it’s SO EASY to work with. I think if more people tried better quality acrylics they would work with them more. It’s almost like dollar store make up compared to Sephora makeup ya know? One of those things that u have to pay for quality to get better results.
@@SlayByJay I know! She has the most beautiful acrylic! I actually live in the same state as her and am seriously considering going to get my nails done at her shop. It’ll probably cost a boatload but I think it would be a fun one time treat. I’m obsessed with her artwork.
if your trying acrylic use young nails monomer!!! It will make your acrylic smooth and it won't dry up to fast I use to use Mia secret monomer and was ready to give up because my powders would dry so fast so as soon as I laid it I couldn't move it, for acrylic powders I recommend not polish and Valentino.
Hey there, I was wondering if you could try "Nailed2TheHustle" acrylic and give your opinion? I am a DIYer and I learn a ton from RUclips and have watched you from the beginning over a year ago when I started. I have a huge collection of polygel and have slowly added acrylic to my journey. I just received an order from her. I have no association with Leesa Marie, other than watching her videos. I received my order within 4 days from the day I placed it and to me, a non-professional, her acrylics are literally like Butter and a perfect set time for me. I, like many others, value your opinion so I thought I would ask your thoughts. Thank you so much for all you do for us. You are the sweetest of all RUclipsrs.
I love love notpolish and another one is young nails to me the top ones are not polish, kira sky Young nails and nail house those are the top brands oh it's Julie's nails can't forget to lay his nails I love that brand too but those brands are the top I'm telling you I have tried every brand out there and I mean every brand these brands that I just dated are the best and the easiest to work with....
I havent used any of these so I value your opinion but I feel the application could be a reason why you didnt like some acrylics over others. Just a friendly observation...
Thank you! Someone told me it’s raw glitter like u said but they put it in the regular acrylic packaging 😂 i bet if i mixed some clear acrylic with it, it would work as a glitter acrylic too! Thanks for taking the time to comment and let me know really appreciate it!

Have you tried Mia Secret is it better than Mia secret?
@@magicpurple575 I have only tried one Mia secret and I think I like not polish more, but it’s all preference.
Thank you for your honest review . I like not polish, Kiara sky and young nails in that order.anacrylics was disappointing 😕
2 in 1 acrylic mean it a dip and a acrylic so u use it as a dipping with activator and as an acrylic so it will alway be different
Not polish is not beginner friendly price wise they are too expensive for someone starting their acrylic journey
I’m sorry but looks and packaging doesn’t matter but the acrylic and how It works on the nails matter so I’m confused on why u felt the need to mention that but overall this helped me figure out what brands to buy thxxxx
Girl in the future possibly can you review the Valentino acrylics I been had my eye on them but they are a little pricey like not polish🤞🤗
Hey girl! Yes I can! I have the 80’s collection by them and it is so, so good! I’ll get a video up with them asap!
Thank you so much doll I really appreciate you and your videos🤞♥️
Yay, excited to watch this 😄
Could you please make a video about what type of clear and white acrylics are best for beginners because I have alot of model ones and their white and clear is not the best
Ty for this video I'm just starting acrylic and mia secret was supposed to be the best not for me! Had the worst time with it. Now I see Valentino is the top one. But after this video not polish might be another I try. I'm done with Saviland acrylic and mia secret it's just not happening there for me.
What's the easiest method for a beginner? Polygel or acrylic or what?
Acrylic bc once u learn acrylic then poly gel is really simple
I need to know best polygel, best gel polish, and how to add glitter to polygel or gel polish (specifically chunky)
Modelone
No offense, but your beads are off so some of it’s not applying properly. Anacrylics is actually a really good brand. It’s not meant to be applied like regular acrylics
What nail brush are you using
Can you try dynamic nail powders?
Great review love the nude acrylic I will be buying some not polish acrylics. Great unboxing
Dynamic has that same beautiful consistency and a fraction of the cost
Can you add Valentino ? I will like to know if they are good for beginners
My friend just told me Nail Hause is having a huge sale because they are changing their packaging ironically lol 😝
I’ve seen Vee Nailed NP collection and I want it so bad!
Where did you buy your brush from?
Amazing Honest Reviews❤❤
What acrylic brushes do you recommend? :)
Also what monomer?
@@SabreenT21ema monomer
You should try nailed by John his acrylic’s are also beginners friendly ❤
I follow him on IG too! I would love to try his. I’ll do this video again with other brands and I’ll make sure i grab a couple of his.
What is a nail swap?
I respect ur honesty
What monomer do you use with not polish?
It also better to keep acrylic in a darker container
Can you do dynamic nail supply review ?
Yes i totally will !
thank you, i was about to spend over 100+ on anacrylics
You’re so welcome! Don’t waste ur money on Ana!
How did you make the little heart swatches?
I love this review but after searching all the products they’re prices have definitely sky rocketed! I might as well just get Not Polish.(:
Sooo much acrylic I’m obsesssessedddd🤍😭
TESS! Hi pretty girl! I’m obsessed too i now want a huge acrylic collection lol
Whats the official not polish website
Hi girl ❤️ Wow lots of amazing goodies there, love it. Have you tried Glitterbels acyrlic? 😘 x
Hi love! Haven’t tried Glitterbels but them and Young Nails are next on my list! I’ve heard great things about Glitterbels. Do you like them?
@@SlayByJay Yes you should definitely try them and yes you could say that, there glitter acrylics are stunning. I think you would love them ❤😘
Hey there, I was wondering if you could try "Nailed2TheHustle" acrylic and give your opinion? I am a DIYer and I learn a ton from RUclips and have watched you from the beginning over a year ago when I started. I have a huge collection of polygel and have slowly added acrylic to my journey. I just received an order from her. I have no association with Leesa Marie, other than watching her videos. I received my order within 4 days from the day I placed it and to me, a non-professional, her acrylics are literally like Butter and a perfect set time for me. I, like many others, value your opinion so I thought I would ask your thoughts. Thank you so much for all you do for us. You are the sweetest of all RUclipsrs.
The sugar effect isn’t acrylic it’s glitter use clear bead to pick up the glitter
which monomer were you using with not polish ?
Do yk what she used now
@@Yesi_yesgshe used ema monomer the mias secret
Where to get them dear
running to buy KS and NP now :)
What monomer did you use?
Low odor Afro glam monomer
I havent used any of these so I value your opinion but I feel the application could be a reason why you didnt like some acrylics over others. Just a friendly observation...
Has anyone tried immaculate visions Acrylic Powders?
You have to mold Anacrylics. Swipe motion doesn’t work on the product
Really ive heard alot of people say Valentino isn't great
That sugar effect one from not polish is straight glitter is not acrylic.
Thank you! Someone told me it’s raw glitter like u said but they put it in the regular acrylic packaging 😂 i bet if i mixed some clear acrylic with it, it would work as a glitter acrylic too! Thanks for taking the time to comment and let me know really appreciate it!
@@SlayByJay your welcome no problem. And yes! It would work just like glitter acrylic if you mix it lol. That’s what I do lol
LOVE THE NUDE BEAUTIFUL LIKE BUTTER smoothed right out so easy beautiful color NOTPOLISH for sure🤍 have to get some now💅🏼💅🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼😍 thanks chicky
