Went from XR and just got the iPhone 13 Pro Max yesterday. I unplugged at 6am and playing games, watching RUclips, listening to music, and doing other tasks I normally would it’s 2pm and I’m at 80% still. The battery life is insane
dude i went from an 8 to a 13 pro and i would come home from school and my phone would be at below 10% most days and now when i get home its at around 80% and its such a weird feeling not having to charge your phone every hour

It depends on how you use a phone. For example mobile data drains the battery faster than wifi, especially when connectivity is bad (my own experience).

I really like your battery tests. Unlike some of those "big guys" like WhosetheBoss, you're using the touchscreen a lot - as a real person would do. This has HUGE impact because the touchscreen itself drains power too, not just the screen itself. Also huge respect for playing games on 3 devices at the same time for hours 😅

As a person with the iPhone 13 pro max you can’t deny the battery life is beyond amazing, I’m a heavy user ( typically 5-7 hours a day on my phone I still have around 39-49 percent each day, which I’m sure others can get more due to my heavy usage, I play games, constantly on FaceTime, and watch videos

If you don’t prefer the mega size of 13 Pro Max, you should pick the regular 13 over the 13 Pro for battery purposes I guess. On the other hand if you want the 120 Hz and added camera capabilities then 13 Pro seems the right choice. If you want them all and don’t care about the bulkiness, go for the 13 Pro Max. @@Rcalero nah it’s not really. the 120hz is on when you swipe then goes back down when you stop moving the device most of the battery drainage comes from the screen, iPhone 13 pro screen is brighter 1000 nits vs 800 nits iPhone 13. Put a power hungry screen plus with that same battery size gives you less screen on time.
I have a13pro which defo last longer for me till I go to bed, but recently had a 13mini and I can say I am very impressed with my 13mini ...till morning and night it lasted well for me..pretty happy and still deciding if I should get rid of my pro, just small difference w battery and other high specs w the pro but didn't affect my daily use..still recommend the mini actually

While there is nothing wrong with your video, and I do find value in it, I believe we need as a community of tech fans to establish some standard battery test protocol. Your iPhone mini ranked 8:06hrs while I’ve send RUclipsrs getting 3:30hrs (50% different). There are many different variable from screen brightness, to mobile connectivity, room temperature, app used etc. Again, I have no complaints whatsoever toward this channel, every channel does it own kind of battery test, but I think we can benefit from a more unified test. *I consider the iPhone 13 mini, 8hrs is enough for me but 3.5hrs isn’t.

It gives you 8hrs screen on time, real word let’s take it 7hrs screen on which would be good enough battery life for you, but if you don’t play games go for the mini it can give you almost 10 hrs screen on. Go starlight.

Im sorry but i have to say that this test isnt that accurate. The brightness has to be exactly the same cuz the 13 should die befor the pro and if you look closely you can see that the brightness on the pro is maybe 3-5% brighter and thats the problem in this test. But still ist is a good test and this should only be a constructive criticism

i think it’s because of the pro motion, the battery is the same size as the regular 13, but with the ability of going up to 120hz, it may drain faster. maybe if he disabled the pro motion it would be kinda the same (13 and 13 pro)

@@Ummmmmidk it is not because of the 120hz. All of the other battery comparisons, (including aruns) used 120hz in their comparisons. The 120 hz screen is actually a bit more energy efficient due to the fact that it throttles down to 10hz during non intensive activities.
I think I have a problem I just bought the iPhone 13 and I notice the battery drops 1% every minute o two minutes. I use RUclips, twitter, instagram, WhatsApp and TikTok. Is normal? Like I have to charge it everyday (I do it when it drops to 35%) :(

I think I have a problem I just bought the iPhone 13 and I notice the battery drops 1% every minute o two minutes. I use RUclips, twitter, instagram, WhatsApp and TikTok. Is normal? Like I have to charge it everyday (I do it when it drops to 35%) :(
tiktok is very heavy, but theres still a problem

What it comes down to is the 13 pro has a battery size of 3,095mah and the iphone 13 has battery size of 3,227mah so the battery will last a little longer than the 13 pro battery
