    Gil! Great video man. You've been killing the WSOP circuit events, just wanted to ask what's the biggest adjustment you make in those events? Are you playing aggressive trying to accumulate chips early is it a bit more patience and waiting for some run good, thanks man

    A bit late to the party, but I actually would’ve liked a check raise on river with QQ and q of clubs as a bluff. Villain would be betting turn with lots of flush draws and we in general are checking a lot of flush draws on turn oop due to the large c-bet on flop. The action makes it look a lot like he has ak or aq, and it is impossible for him to have KQc and QJc as we are blocking those + he would def be betting all other flush draws like JTc on turn when getting all that extra equity; sets and two pair would also all bet turn. So he reeeeallly doesn’t have many flushes esp with q clubs as that knocks at least half of his flush combos.
    To make sure I’m not full of shit, I even checked the solver and with Tx Tc (bc we can’t use QQ given it isn’t a gto line). Solver likes a 42% river shove as a bluff.

    QQ line is fine probably should just check raise flop tho as played like the river fold rather call other pairs that unblock broadway hands

    I think you gotta call with pocket QQs on that last hand. Size and chip throwing motion looks bluffy also the chance your opponent has an Ace heads up is 20 percent and the chance of spiking the Ace from the turn to the river is 7 percent.

    • @davidshon5
      @davidshon5 11 дней назад +2

      As played the villain's range screams ace high hands, it's just not a good spot to hero call. Also I don't think those percentages are accurate. If you limit it to hands that took his action (3-bet on the button, bet flop and checked turn), more than 50% of his hand range would be hands like ak, aq, aj. You're basically beating nothing besides pure bluffs like occasional king high, as lower pockets and pairs would check on river

      @ThePatriots010304 2 дня назад +1

      I don't see how you can call with QQ on the river. The opponent's line was basically A10-AK given all of the action. The guy made a good play and sized his bet correctly.

      @@ThePatriots010304 I go with probability more so than player decision. People can be making bluffs or mistakes at anytime.

    Think your turn size is bad w the 87dd. Hard to get more polar than this being that I doubt you are betting the Ax you flat Btn with. So you are basically saying you have 8x+ or a draw. Think you want to go massive on the turn.

      Probably not worth it to post. Bunch of hands where you raise preflop/call a raise, flop comes, he missed and folded to aggression.

    I'd suppose there are people who donate in live poker as there is in fake poker, but my assumption is always that it's easier to handle a loss if they set their attitudes chill. Then when that draw doesn't come in, it's not as annoying. (hey! I paused before I saw the answer)
    Question: As an up and coming player facing people 2-3x your age at times, do you find your good play puts older people on tilt just as a "regular thing"?
