    Is your AJ 4 bet v button with j9 off too small?

  • @richcheckmaker
    @richcheckmaker 7 месяцев назад +2

    4:45 Yes he could be jamming the naked ace of clubs but vs your near pot sizing I don't think you'll see him show up with anything but a flush most of the time. Seems like a fold here for me. How many naked ace of clubs do you think he'll raise from UTG then call your 3bet? Maybe AK and AQ? AJos probably folds, even AQos could fold. How many combos of two club hands is he going to have though? Seems like that second group is going to be much bigger. And considering you're drawing dead vs. a flush this is just a fold. Just my opinion. Good luck!

      @@garyblackwoodpoker He could be jamming sets but I think a lot of sets just call and evaluate river. Jamming a set is probably overplay after you take such a big sizing on the turn. I just really hate putting money in the pot when I could be drawing dead.

    When you peel on the 3 club flop with a5 diamonds what range did you put your opponent on when he donked out? He took a very unusual line I think? Very small do I into the preflop raiser and a third player trying to induce and then check raise on the turn?it doesn’t seem very bluffy to me - would this villain open with 3’s and 4’s always from early position? You mentioned two pair which…. Opening 34 or 23 suited then calling a reraise out of position? Also which unsuited aces is he calling the three bet with? Down to… aj? Range evaluation seemed a little wide possibly Honestly curious about this hand not just trying to shit on you, I’ve never played any high stakes

      I think in the A5 diamonds hand…he actually put you on a lower flush or a set so he wanted to get maximum value for a cooler in his favour. I love the pot bet on the turn but once he goes all-in on turn he has a monster, knowing you have a monster as well, knowing u won’t fold.

    ''seat changing in game is a big no no''. Why do you think so? kinda curious if you dont mind

    • @garyblackwoodpoker
      @garyblackwoodpoker  7 месяцев назад +2

      I should have clarified, seat changing to sit to the left of recreational players is a big nono. If you are super tall and don't want seat 1, or the game is on and you wanna sit it seat 4 to watch it, that's all fine, but moving to the left of recs is just super scummy.
      When I play 10/20 and above all the regs have an unwritten rule that you don't seat change, and it's great. The other day at 5/10 I had the best seat (co incidentally) and as soon as I got up to cash out some Spanish nitreg instantly takes my seat. It's just scummy and sets a bad vibe. Recs know what pros are doing when they do that.

Not faceless at all, more than happy to arrange a meet up to discuss this over a beer but this romanticizing is purely to soothe your ego. Your hyperbole about my comment reveals it even further
