Ordered mine a few days ago. Can't wait to imagine myself being in the clone war, or fighting Count Dooku or Obi-Wan. May the force be with you!

As kids we had to imagine the whole laserblades and just stop in mid-air where they would cross... also there where no hilts to purchase anywhere, so a piece of a broken other toy or the core of aluminum-foil or something like that had to do.
So now I'm grown up and hate Disney SW more than anything, but no matter. Because I have EU books, the De-Specialized Editions on Blu-Ray AND I got the same Hardware as you show off here by Theory sabers. But Obi-Wan's design, because a matter of taste, I guess. :D May the force be with you.

So I am right in saying that Ani 3 is also Luke episode 4 right? same thing came out of Obi Wans trunk?

According to the lore, Obi Wan took Anakins lightsaber when he defeated him on musafar, and over the years spent in the desert of Tatooine, he modified and tinkered with it which is why it looks slightly different in a new hope. But they are both graflex based designs. Does that answer your question?

Yes and no, technically all versions minus the Rey reforged version is the same but the graplex has looked different pretty much Everytime 3,4,5 are very obviously different while 7 and 8 are slightly modified ep 5 versions of it and obviously the 9 being different.

As far as the storyline goes, yes, it's the same saber. In reality, they are very different, and only look similar to each other from a distance.
The original Ep.4 Graflex is thicker, heavier, and made from different materials. There's also a D-ring on the Graflex, as opposed to the covertec wheels used in the prequels. There's a LOT of other differences, but that would be a long reply.

It always kinda bugs me when y'all release these sponsered saber reviews and don't even mention who actually makes the product you're advertising.
The hilt you're holding in the video is made by TXQ. It's not the most accurate RoTS hilt out there, but it is absolutely the most accurate to the one Anakin used in the Ahsoka series - because it's the same one they used in the show. (Yes, Disney uses the occasional aftermarket hilt in their productions these days.)
And the price markup on these saber vendors is outrageous. You can buy that same hilt on AliExpress, directly from TXQ's store, for close to $200 less than Theory sells his for. And it's IDENTICAL.

@@BiGFinK1960 First, this is not sponsored, I bought this with my own money as a gift to myself. On the saber manufacturer, while all of that is true, 90% of people buying these sabers don’t care who the manufacturer is, they just care about what website to buy it from. And if you really care Theory himself discloses where he gets these sabers. And while, yes, you can buy this lightsaber off Ali express for a lot less I want to support sellers and in this case, I wanted to support Star Wars theory as I enjoy his channel and share his views on Star Wars as a whole.

@SpaceCaptainLord A whole lot more than 10% of the saber collectors out there care about who is making their sabers, and the vast majority want the best price possible. You're supporting a price gouging drop-shipper because you like their RUclips content. If that's what you want to do, that's your choice. But I'm getting a pretty strong vibe that you had no idea who makes that hilt, and also didn't know you got ripped off. Now you're suggesting people go to the same place to get taken as well. Why? Blind loyalty to a complete stranger? If you knew it could be had for almost half price from the manufacturer, why not mention it, if your post was really to inform folks where to buy?

@@BiGFinK1960 I actually very much knew TXQ made this hilt, and it was used for Asoka, as well as the differences between this hilt and the one in episode 3. Also, you are completely free to purchase your lightsabers from whenever you want, as am I. I 100% recommend buying from theory sabers even though it’s more expensive. The fonts on the saber are more in line with what I wanted, and I have replaced the ones I didn’t with my own fonts. (Which are both the light side and dark side Anakin fonts from Asoka since I felt they fit this version of the hilt.) Honestly, I totally see where you are coming from but it’s not blind loyalty. I’ve watched Star Wars theory from the beginning of his channel and I made the conscious choice to purchase my lightsaber from his store. This video also wasn’t meant to be a complete comprehensive overview of the lightsaber, it was my thoughts and a look at my collection of Anakin lightsabers. I do appreciate you watching!

@SpaceCaptainLord I apologize for most likely sounding like a complete dick. It's not my intention. I'm on RUclips a LOT these days- more than most other media at the moment. I see ot of saber related content, and I've probably seen at least ten different Theory Sabers paid reviews pop up in my "recommend" menu in the last week alone. Some of them are completely ridiculous. And his prices are ludicrous. $600 for that hilt is CRAZY. And he's got people telling folks that LGT makes the MOST ACCURATE hilts and crap like that- stuff that's just flat-out lies. Personally, I won't deal with people like that or recommend them to anyone. You can make a living without ripping people off. I appreciate that you feel obligated to support him, but I just don't see him the same way you do, and that's okay.
I'm sorry that I assumed that's what was going on in your video, and I did actually enjoy the look back at your early hilts. My first one was made in 1980- an Empire Strikes Back "The Force" Darth Vader-red lightsaber. 😁

@@BiGFinK1960 haha that’s amazing! The old lightsabers are just amazing. My kids love to play with them and don’t realize how lucky they are to have the lightsaber toys they have today. And you’re ok, again I totally understand where you are coming from.
