+Morfh in the big picture, yes. but archimonde before kil'jaeden. regardless, it's one of the many reasons why we all agree that Kael'thas went mad in the end
Kaelthas was succumbed to kiljaeden's deception the very moment kiljaeden materialize himself infront of illidan, vashj, akama and kaelthas back at the black temple in warcraft 3.Illidan described it as "kiljaeden taking abit of an interest to kaelthas in particular when he glanced over illidan's newly formed army but its nothing that bothered illidan much".
You're misunderstanding the timeline, though. Kil'jaeden created the Scourge to prepare for the Legion's next invasion. Destroying Quel'thalas and the Sunwell to revive Kel'thuzad was part of the Legion's plan to be able to summon Archimonde. So basically Kael'thas chose to serve the one being who masterminded his people's destruction from start to finish. It wasn't until after Archimonde was summoned and left for Nordrassil that the Lich King betrayed the Legion.

Rainy Jane Actually WotLK was pretty good. It had the best lore and Icecrown Citadel and Ulduar are easily some of the best raids around. The only thing that ruined the game in that expansion was the uncluttering, and the Path of Titans system. The rest was really impressive. Some classes (like the Paladin) became better (I can only speak for the Paladin because that's what I rolled back then) and it had a lot of lore to it. Death Knights were amazing as well. What I miss from BC is that feeling of epicness we got when we first flew, and doing Black Temple, and the mysthique it had back then because the game was still new and had so much to offer. I still kinda wish they waited a few years to release an expansion about Illidan. Maybe AFTER WotLK, since Illidan and Arthas were rivals. It would have been neat to have Illidan come back to Azeroth to see his foe die. In the end, all expansions had good and bad, the thing is, BC was the first and had all the chances to bring good stuff. Warlords of Draenor is sincerely one of the best expansions and really suits the game at this point in time. I think they got it right.
urielvazquez The only thing I agree on was that the lore for wotlk was good, but the expansion itself I really disliked. I'm big on scenery and environments and to me Northrend was terribly dull after TBC. It was all these different variants of snow and then Sholazaar which felt like a second Un'goro, and which was an environment type I never liked in the first place. Also, they introduced vehicle mechanics, and it was like they went completely nuts with it: there were vehicle mechanics EVERYWHERE. They were something I never liked in the first place, but they were all over, you couldn't get away from them (like playing your class? Well, here, hit these three lame buttons instead of your abilities, and now do that 50 more times with 50 different vehicles!) Wotlk Was probably the first time I stopped feeling "addicted" to WoW. I feel like most of the time when I speak with someone who "loved" Wotlk, they started playing during WotlK and see it as nostalgic (not saying that's the case with you, but I remember back when it was WotlK, it was rare to come across someone in-game who didn't dislike it compared with TBC - and no, that's not just nostalgia, I loved TBC while it was still TBC). Also, it's interesting how nowadays everyone you speak to who played older expansions reminiscens on their presumed epic time raiding, when in actuality back in classic maybe like 1% of the population actually raided, and in TBC maybe like 1% of the population got to Black Temple and beyond. Most people got up to T5 in TBC, but suddenly everyone is like "oh I remember the awesome raiding of BT and Sunwell..." - where are these people coming from??

What no. Kael had a great fall from grace story. From his stand point he had literally no choice in the decisions he made. The only people willing to help him were the Legion, he didn't know anything about the horde accepting his people and hated the alliance for betraying him. Illidan wasn't working out and in his thinking there was no way the draenei were going to help him. 10 years ago patch 2.4 came out :O
Yes. Magister Terrace, very close to the Sunwell raid area.
TBC's videos still give me nostalgia of these time. WOTLK & Cataclysm don't.
I miss Karazhan. I miss Nagrand. I miss SSC, Gruul, Zul'Aman. I spent countless hours of pure fun with friends there.
Ulduar was the only promising raid since then.
I want to taste again the fun of this period of my gamer's life.
Quel'Thalas will join the Alliance!
The Blood Elves will join the Alliance!
No, the Blood Elves are beyond redemption. The High Elves and the Void Elves will reconquer Quel'thalas
@@CIAinTaiwanAndUkraine I was hoping for a United elven race. Ya know, blood elves, high elves and void elves all reuniting under one banner, and the Night elves, Nightborne and Highborne all united
The blood elves and nightborne were complicit in murdering the civilians of Astranaar, Darkshore and Teldrassil
High Elves, Void Elves and Highborne will avenge the fallen Night Elves and make the Blood Elves face justice and make the Nightborne recant their decision
@Supersomonerandom that explains why the scourge is with lich king and not the burning legion -.-
How can their be abominations at that part when Arthas used the Sunwell in the stage where he didn't have abominations yet.
Spoiler alert!
lol
Im here after Blizzard
And you are going to cry ?
@@chrislab542 Oh, projection. Typical.
@Deadganon uh... actually when I say vanilla I mean some of the old content that has many changes to to it to try to make it interesting, with a lot more new content as in twilight highlands, tol - barad, etc, but unlike it's previous expansions that has a sanctuary where a lot of players stay in, ex... dalaran, shattrah, this one does not, besides when I put my comment up there, I was just curious why 40man raids aren't available
This girl, in armor, the one who stepped forward is Lady Liadrin?
@JediBladeMaster Yeah, both Raiden and Kael'thas were done by the same voice actor :)
See this in my suggestions.... OHHH the nostalgia...
It was also cool facing all these lore characters... Gruul,Magtheridon,Lady vashj,Archimonde,Kael'thas and Illidan :)
@MJfamous94
It's the Magister's Terrace dungeon soundtrack, search it in youtube : )
What song starts at 1:35?
These were the times man....these were the times...
i LOVED this patch
Kael'thas is Awesome. The Badass transformed.
@Rickey985 I always said Deathwing should be the first return of a 40 man raid.. it's just too epic to pass up
Yes. Apparently we left a near-death Kael'thas in Tempest Keep. He got revived with Fel energies to summon Kil'jeaden. He was the final boss in Magister's Terrace, where we remove his head to keep him dead this time.
oh the good old days.

My guild disband due to this raid LOL. we only downed I think the first 3 boss and everything collapse. This sure bring back some good/bad memories.
Miss this
Final Era? Wow will never die...
Yea, I remember when someone got the first one on my server, people were following him around everywhere in the cities.
Oh to be raiding TBC again, my favorite time.
FIRE TO THE AID OF SHADOW
@ChayioIndano You mean Kael? No, he's a mage.
Wow the audio was butchered in this version of the same patch trailer.....Butchered......especially the ending wow.......makes you realize how important good audio is
Amazing !
I've been a fan of WoW since watching my brothers play BC and sure they changed some things to the gaming experience that i didn't like but that never stopped me from playing. can't wait till they bring back Kiljaeden and hopefully make that raid challenging. I'm definitely up for it.
My rogue performed killing spree for the first time on those beaches.A passing warrior stopped and said " WTF was that?" ...great days .
he is more or less correct. The highborne were night elves but they were also the first to be exposed to the well of eternity, which is what turned the trolls into elves in the first place, so technically they would have been the first elves. If you reply to this comment I won't be able to see it =/ between this ubuntu OS and youtube's new layout I can't figure out how to tell if I have new comments and where. Sorry.
