With a base price of just RM104k, the MG4 Standard is a rival to the BYD Dolphin and ORA Good Cat, but with sharper looks. But the XPOWER variant, at RM160k, is probably the best way to get your hands on 435PS and 600Nm from a brand new car with an intact warranty for the least amount of money.
Even better news? It’s actually a pretty well sorted out EV and a very strong start to the MG brand in Malaysia.

Bro, im owner mg4 lux version can charge up to 11kwh through ac charger..pls correct that. Only mg4 standard version max ac charge 7kw..other mg4 model can support up to 11kw ac
U can set to control the aircond through steering button to solve the android auto/ apple carplay issue

I have my XPower a week now it’s awesome, I set one star button on the left on the steering wheel for region and the right star button for the drive modes easy to access and that’s all you really need when you engaging the power drive 😂

It’s definitely the best car I have ever drive , I live on a small island and drove around with a full charge over a week so it’s perfect for me awesome machine
A small island sounds fun spot to drive an MG4, or any smaller EV. Quiet, quick, and like you said a full charge lasts a long while 💪🏽
I can bet mg4 rear wheel drive weight distribution and handling as good as mazda mx5

If you only go half throttle at most in the XPOWER, it basically becomes the same as the Lux 😆
