My interpretation: Happiness is one major decision away. You can either choose to pursue what you love or wake up and live on auto pilot dreaming about what you love. The decision is yours, but most people will never make that decision. I feel his pain and wish I had the courage to walk away from that train in pursuit of more.

By "working on it" are you implying you are gaining money though various means ie: working, building a business, or establishing passive income. You look like someone who would have that entrepreneurial spirit. If you don't or haven't though about that though wish to become financially independent than I can give you a few great ideas you can do right now to become financially free though they will require sales skills. I don't know what is, if is fear of the unknow or something like that, because even if you think your life is boring it's somehow confortable to, you kinda like... But yeah many times my mind go far away (exactly how it showed in the video), lovers, works, travells, etc. Actually for me seems like an instinctive way of act, i mean things tend to stay at the same way inertia haha And as i say, sometimes you are already very happy and don't realize this. my takeaway from this is finding happiness in what we have now. we tend to drown in the "ifs" or "whens" in life like "when i become skinnier only then i would be happy" or "if i get my dream job then I'll be happy" overlooking that we can be happy now, if we choose to appreciate what we have at the present moment.

Maybe one day I will finally chase those dreams. But that day has yet to come,if it ever does. But I don’t think it will in this world of constant fear. I've had the same fear. But I think you should try to get your motivation from the passion for things you love instead of fear of ending up somewhere you don't want.
What I interpret from this video is that happiness is a state of mind. He first thinks that his life is going to go in daily struggles and hustles, and believes he would end like the old man beside him; certainly not a happy state of mind. But, one can close their eyes, imagine any place or state they want to be in, and your subconscious will believe in what you believe which will increase your serotonin. Most contemporary authors today have a day job to pay the bills and to fund their research. Unfortunately, too many of us (me included) spend too much time on games and social media, and then blame our work life for our lack of fulfilled dreams.
I am a student and I think in this time that ai have to get a good carrier and then I will be happy. So now I sacrifice all the things like play in ground with my friends, draw a picture and many things but after watching this video I started again all those things which I sacrifice, because money is always not able to give happiness in Life.

Yes, thats a question each of us has to answer when we are young. Do we chase our bliss OR knuckle down & march off to work each N every day for 50 years until we retire? In the 1960s a lot of kids after college went backpacking all over the world in a quest to 'Find Themselves' & discover their bliss. Well, the corporate world wanted none of that, they needed the kids to get to work for them & help make the corporation richer. So college was made more & more expensive so kids will begin there young life with a suffocating college debt. So they have to get to work to settle this debt so their have to serve a life sentence in a corporate cubicle. REMEMBER, its nothing personal. Its business. !

Let me tell you something. Life is worth living only when you have the courage to stand up for your dreams. I tell you, I have lived many years. I've spent a lot of money, done many things. To live a life we do not love is to die an agonizingly slow death. Empty your life. Only then can you see who you are. My friend, tomorrow is not promised. Easy to forget I know. Never give up the good fight, without it, life becomes a pointless existence. Only after the time and money is spent, will you realize how much of your life has already been wasted. Nothing goes with us when we die. All that stays with us until the end is the life we led and the feeling we have about it.

1) why are people working in offices always presented as sad and as if they had a boring life? It can be pretty interesting.
2) I don't think that everybody has a dreamjob like him. As a girl I wanted to be an author, a singer, an artist or a marine biologist :D
1) I think here it's just easier to use symbolism/imagery that people have accustomed to insted of try to make up new ones. I don't know where that presentation comes from though ;o
2) The message what I'm trying to say here is don't settle with your life if your not happy. Doesn't have to be about job or like that. Can be applied in any part of life :)

are young. Do we chase our bliss OR knuckle down &
march off to work each N every day for 50 years until
we retire? In the 1960s a lot of kids after college went
backpacking all over the world in a quest to
'Find Themselves' & discover their bliss. Well, the
corporate world wanted none of that, they needed the
kids to get to work for them & help make the corporation
richer. So college was made more & more expensive so
kids will begin there young life with a suffocating college
debt. So they have to get to work to settle this debt so
their
have to serve a life sentence in a corporate cubicle.
