- I hope everyone had a safe, and enjoyable New Years!
Earlier last year while in Malaysia hunting coverage for Speedhunters, a new friend of mines pulled me to the side one day to get my opinion on his ambitious dream. "What would you think if I told you I want to drive from Malaysia to Europe in my Trueno?" He said eyes gleaming with excitement. "And I have done all the calculations and planning and I believe it will take me about 1 year to complete since I will want to explore, race on some of the more well know tracks, and properly enjoy the drive."
"That sounds absolutely insane! And sounds like one hell of an adventure! " I told him probably looking as eager as he was. "What can I do to help?"
So this time on Tokyo Tuner, enjoy a brief little introduction on the man who is planning on spending the year driving across the globe in his virtually stock AE86 Trueno.

Here in The Hawaiian islands are space road is very limited!!!
I positive your 86 will make the journey my car is a 84 sr5 that landed in Hawaii 1983 it currently has 200 thousand + miles but runs strong with a new motor out in at 135 miles
Ae86 are becoming very rare here In the islands and on the market let’s cherish this great strong Toyota with its history and legacy

That sounds like it will be an amazing adventure! I think he may need to raise the ride height of his car and maybe fit some all terrain tyres to make it all the way but I have never driven any of the roads on the route so he probably knows better than me. lol Good luck!
