The World According to Briggs recently put out a video stating that no one is moving to Atlanta. This just isn't true - Atlanta is growing and more and more people are moving to Atlanta every day. Watch this video where I talk about where Briggs is right and where he is wrong about Atlanta.

This guy is quite forthright. I lived in Atlanta for almost a decade, and I enjoyed it in spite of the heat, bugs, and traffic.

@@movingtoatlantaga I hope you'll do a video of the neighborhood that used to have the Cowtippers (now closed) in Atlanta. I loved how green that area was. The trees touched the sky!!! I yearn to return to that area sometimes, however, I lived in the parched desert of California now. It was on the corner of Piedmont and Morningside. Great area just NE of the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

@@user-rr1dp8jm7t yes, right next to Smith's Olde Bar. We spent some time there back in the days before kids! Cowtippers was a fun spot. There was actually a country music program on Album88 called Cowtipper's Delight!

Please stop! According to the 2022 US Census, Atlanta gained 130,000 residents since the 2020 census. Do your own research ppl. smdh

When quoting the population numbers, I was referring to Metro Atlanta, not the actual City of Atlanta. The COA is a very small part of Metro Atlanta.

I believe you need to look at the data on specifically what has caused inflation. Your comments are not accurate.

Economics is like physics, there are rules which can't be changed. Printing excess money without a general increase in productive output always causes inflation. Always. In this case, we printed money while productivity was plummeting, creating excess demand for goods which were suddenly not being produced in sufficient quantities. The same thing happened all around the world. As for the interest rates, they were way too low for way too long. It's a way that the government can stimulate the economy, but it's like a sugar high. Demand for Atlanta has definitely driven up prices but, looking at the big picture, inflation and interest rates have much more to do with the run up in prices and the cost of living.

@@movingtoatlantaga using general macro and micro economics doesn’t specify the conditions and political actions that have taken place.
