thanks! I already have a tutorial on that technique - ruclips.net/video/rQ9mnBqbpqg/видео.html - 'Perspectives' was developed from the audio demo for scene modulation in that video
tutorial on scene modulation > ruclips.net/video/rQ9mnBqbpqg/видео.html some sound design notes that got accidentally omitted/glossed over - 1. the master track compressor has an RMS value of eighty-five 2. the compressor on the drum loop has an RMS of zero 3. the compressor on the bass sound has an RMS of zero 4. the filter of the 'synth riff' has a distortion setting of thirty-two 5. no slicing or time-stretching of any samples 6. slide trigs on the bass track
thank you. i've learned a lot from your videos, so far the most used technique is the trig conditioned midi notes to trigger internal resampling, but after this i can't wait to try out the ramp LFO to effect the start position on non-sliced loops. keep em coming PLEASE!
that's a nice track breakdown ... I could almost follow in realtime what's happening ... but will go thru it in step mode to deeper understand... its helpful to see witch tricks you use where and what you jump over . guess I need still a lot of practice
thanks Bruno! I definitely left out and glossed over some things, but hopefully this conveys the main ideas I was using to produce the track - mostly it's just about re-sequencing those loops!
great videos mm, dumb question; is the Octatrack Mk2 now “class compliant usb audio”? just looking for the remotest chance it might interface w/laptop. sure is a specific but highly creative music box, thanks, what do you think of Digitone,
Awesome!
Can you go into more detail (or provide a link to a video) about how you use MIDI tracks to change/manipulate scenes?

max marco MUCH appreciated!
5:00 that is the most true statement about scenes ever.

awesome! thank you! will do :)
Great stuff as always!
thanks man! since it was only one 16 step pattern it made it a little easier :D

around 17:00 what are you referring to when you mention "scene modulation"?
Don't you just hate it when somebody is a proficient whizz with their hardware? This is an awesome Demo Max btw.
yeah! screw those guys, such jerks! :D thanks a lot!!
Very interesting, and I don’t even own an octatrack!
hah! thanks man! based on the reports I've been getting you might have a hard time remaining sans Octatrack if you keep watching my videos :D
max marco thanks for the word of caution 😄
