As good as the panther saddle is, the beaver roping saddle is on par with it and way easier to get. I use the first panther pelt toward the satchel early on but well done overall
Same here. I get the beaver saddle early and save the panther pelt for the satchels.
it takes time but the snake saddle can be done early. In my current playthrough CH4 when I go to change away from it the others suffer loss to my stats so Ive been rocking it over beaver and panther
@@andrewlowden322 hunting water snakes under the T.E.R in Bluewater Marsh is usually the quickest way to do it also on the island with the lizards and crabs west of Clemens Point

Good call on those rocks and the panther. I always would go to the rocks caddy-corner from there outside the trees. I think it can get you on the rock I wait on but I get too panicked-shooty when it charges to find out. Also interesting that you got him with regular predator bait. I had assumed him to be potent predator but have been getting foxes instead. Weird. So i have just charged through with my horse for the past 2 years

I was so nervous for you when you went thay deep into those woods lol becuz that panther comes out of no where real quick. I usually barely go into the woods and just turn around and run. Get my rifle out with the scope snd he appears pretty qucikly. Pop him and its all over lol

how long do u have to wait for the panther for the first saddle? the panther pretty much never showed up for me, im in chapter 2 on pc if it makes any difference
Complete the random encounters in that area. It will spawn. Sleep & visit again if it doesn't show up

I completed like 4 missions in chapter 2 to unlock like the fence and legendary animals and then I went on to do all the stupid shit early so I could save on an extra save slot and not have to do them ever again. Like raising all my cores, getting all the saddles from the trapper and trinkets shit like that and I did it really early on.
If there is a npc rest in that spawn area, the panther will not appear, you can see if there is any horse
Be sure to finish the mission you haunt with hosea
thanks for the video ,. i installed RDR2 today and never played it , i went to these locations killed the animal took the pelt to that guy but didnt have any option to buy a saddle , then went to amulet location at the boat wreck but it wasnt there , whats happening ?
The pelt has to be 3 stars which is rather difficult

Use bolt action rifle, sniper, poison arrows, improved arrows
Can be any rifle, i usually use springfield rifle with high velocity ammo

Yes. It has built in stirrups that you can't change.

How do the trinkets work? Do they automatically start working if you have them in your satchel? Is there a limit to how many you can use?
Yes they start working as soon as you equip them (find them) or have them crafted by a fence.

No the panther is the best but really any of them are a massive upgrade over the stable saddles. I don't why people don't get the trapper saddles early becuz they're literally the easiest thing to get and they give a crazy boost to your horse. The only one I don't get is the rattlesnake one becuz that one can be time consuming.

HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW THAT YOUR HORSE WILL "NEVER" RUN OUT OF STAMINA!! ALL U HAVE TO DO IS PAT/PRAISE IT WHILE RIDING & IT GIVES YOUR HORSE STAMINA! EVEN THE MOST BASIC LEVEL STAMINA HORSE "NEVER" RUN OUT IF U DO THIS!
Apart from "Stamina" that saddle is POINTLESS! & there are MUCH better ones u can buy right at the start!!!
