@@Bantilloswoodshopsyempre! Subtle, but it’s there! 😂 I’ve been woodworking as a hobby for 15 yrs, actually making money off of it for 5. You literally have my dream shop! Where you based out of?
Salamat pre 😂 Very cool man! I’ve been woodworking for 6 years but off and on. I actually just started back up a few months ago. Thank you! I’m very fortunate to have collected some tools and have the space. I’m in Virginia, you? Also are you Instagram? If you follow me there I’ll follow you back. IG is Bantilloswoodshop
Nice. Were/are you military by chance? Noticed the name tape on your shop apron. I’m in Texas. And no, that’s one thing I’ve been slacking on. Try not to be too connected to so many social media apps. Facebook and RUclips is good enough for me lol.
I really liked your shop as well. Many tools that are great for a DIY'er, which I've started down that road too. Grizzly/Jet, very good working equipment. I think you just need a drum sander. I stopped to check out the video on the benches and really liked your design/quality and pace of video. You've got another subscriber!
Thank you! Yes it’s good to know people understand there’s different types of DIY’er. Some of us really get into it, hahaha. Agree Grizzly is good for the price and jet is a differently painted powermatic so it’s good as well. And yes! A drum sander is next on my list! I appreciate man! I’m trying to do more in depth videos like this one instead of just the quicker montage with music.
Just ran across your channel. Excellent work with precision detail. We woodworkers are obsessed with precision. My OCD is so bad I’ve rebuilt entire projects because of one flaw NOBODY would see. Might make one of these for myself. Now quit messing around and cut the grass, mower is lonely under that tarp! Taipan Woodworks
Thank you very much! I’m very OCD but wow I guess yours is on another level my friend, haha. Haha, trust me she’s get used every week! Just did the annual maintenance so she’s ready to go!
STUNNING!!! Totally amazing! I just wish I lived closer so I could watch over your shoulder as you go through the steps to make these! (I am a retired teacher and administrator. Taught jr high Industrial Arts (AKA "shop"), then was middle school principal, then taught at MS State University for 17 years before retiring). Now, I enjoy my days in the garage shop, but I have a special love for woodworkers who share their ideas here on FB. So, THANK YOU!!!)
Thank you very much for the kind words Larry! I’ll try to make more videos that explains the process instead of just a short build montage! Congratulations on retirement and what sounds like an amazing career. Now you have all the time to enjoy your shop and create some awesome things! If you have any question on the process I used for any of builds please reach out! I’m more than happy to elaborate.
Thank you! I found through some research that tapping straight to the wood is a lot stronger than threadserts. Threadserts can be durable but the way most people use it is the incorrect way.
Great project! I am all about reusing and repurposing materials whenever I can. I'm definitely not in your class as a woodworker but I am having fun on my RUclips journey as well! Hope to see more from you in the future. You gained a sub!
Thanks man! I am as well if it’s available! This bed frame has been sitting in the garage for a few years and this project was perfect for it! Thanks for the sub and just a Quick Look at your channel and we both definitely are at the same level! I really like the up cycled bench you made! I sub’d to yours as well!
@@Bantilloswoodshop Thanks man! It really was an experimental piece / mock-up. I want to make a few big ones out of cedar or PT for outdoor seating around my firepit and patio.
Thank you Nathan! Here’s the link to the Brad point I use: amzn.to/44AePiw But I got mine from Home Depot which cost a few dollars more. Honestly I don’t use them often. Only when I need to transfer hole marks, haha.
Joe it is an awesome video. Great detail into joining and attachment. I like the finished product. Don’t you think that this is more for a beginner or somebody that has some skills already? The only thing you did not say was what you were cooking on the grill behind you.
I appreciate the awesome feedback Mark! I guess it’s more intermediate? I will try to incorporate your difficulty level suggestion in my next video! And you know I’m always grilling buddy! 😂
The woodshop looks nice bro!
Thanks bro!
Love seeing a fellow filipino woodworker! Keep the videos coming!
What gave it away the accent? 😂 Thank you and I’ll work on more videos!

Nice work! I love the design on those benches! Ash and walnut are a great combo.
Thank you very much Scott! Any pointers on the actual video?
Amazing job brother, I wish I knew how to work that wood like you do 😂
I bet you Max, I bet you do. Thanks my RUclips mentor.

Great video man! Subbed!
Thanks Cornelius! Subbed back! Max, talks a lot of great things about you.
Nice detail in tapping the threads. I have been disappointed several times with threaded inserts wearing out quickly and just bought my first tap set

@ 6:54 You used blue tape to cut your wood 😅.
Hahahaha, don’t you know blue tape is super sharp? Sorry English and words are very hard sometimes 😂
