Most people who lived in plantations were the masters allow them to not be sold or still treated like second-class citizens in terms of common decency most of them were raped and taken advantage of. Hell no that is nostalgia talking, this miniseries has music atmosphere it’s way more realistic than that 1977 version. More inclusive more history. It’s just better. It makes you feel. They can put the chains on your body never let them put the chains on your mind. Did the original have a profound message by Kunta? 2016 was a great year anyway.
