- I was in New Mexico again, with the unofficial mayor and prodigal son of Taos, New Mexico, the always gracious and entertaining Max Gomez. the guy knows how to tug your heart strings; his performance of "Joe" and the John Hartford cover "Tall Buildings" are some of the most popular recordings we've made. Now he's back, showing us all around Taos landmarks like the old courthouse here in the center of town. Seriously, this guy had keys to the whole city. He'd see old friends and acquaintances everywhere we went, people he went to kindergarten with, his parents friends, all types.
We love ya Max. Keep on pickin and grinnin. Next time we're in New Mexico, we gotta find George R R Martin.

I just listened to this so many times in a row
Hey @gemsonvhs I have been videoographer on a music video and assistant on several more, and what I keep noticing in these videos is the impeccable cuts and edits and I just have to ask, do you have two seperate camera guys recoring the same subject at the same time from different angles, or is it seperate recordings edited together synced to the audio? Because if it's the former then cudos to the camera guys who can manage to not interfer with each other, and if the latter then good jeezz cred to the editor - every cut is perfect, with no continuation errors.
both, depending on the video you're watching. this one is one camera two takes one audio sync'd together. i'm the cameras and the editor so thank you lol. i appreciate someone noticing the smaller details!

Everyone likes to be hard on New Mexico. Even the people that live there. But wow do we have some beautiful things here.
Dude new Mexico is SO beautiful. I always pictured it as all bleak desert until I bummed around there for a while. The Gila National forest is SOOOO beautiful and I never would’ve guessed I was in New Mexico when I was there. So many cool old towns too
