- We can all make a difference in someone's life. It doesn't have to be a grand gesture or cost a lot. Even a simple act of kindness can brighten a person's day and make their life just a little easier. The power to do that is within us. So don't hold back. Be a blessing and, in return, be blessed.
This is not a documentary - it is a short film intended to inspire real acts of kindness. The first two sequences were directed by Eun Ho Lee, the second two by me, and the last one by Tim Savage. The song is called Simple Act by Greg Ferguson. Produced in Hawaii by New Hope Oahu and Wayne Cordeiro.
When I was a teenager, I gave up my seat on the bus to an older lady, and she shouted "you think I am old?" Even if what you do isn't appreciated, it's ok. It's important to do what is right.

You're kind continue like that even tho ppl arent thankful.Do the good actions without expecting them to return a thanks or something good .Ive been a lot of situations like that but sometimes i feel really relived when i see smiles.It depend on the ppl that u meet.
That has to understand that you are showing her respect not telling her that she is old.
And also she can reply very softly to you no my child i dnt need it you sit please.
Thats the right way to handle the situation by her.
Shouted on you its shows that she was already angry by some other reason and she find the other way to express her angriness on you.

It’s good to do such things but sometimes there are some who make this a habit of getting things for free. I would rather get some work done in exchange for it unless the person has a deformity . 🙏

In Turkey teens are always give their seats to old people without thinking im 18 years old and even if i see anybody 22-100 years old i just stand up and say come sit down, because its our respect
And it shows you were raised well by your parents!

How can anyone thumbs down these kind gestures , in this world It’s more of these acts that are truly needed. It’s how we all should be , we’ve all been down at some point or will be. And as my father always told me. What goes around comes around . Be kind , and put yourself in whomever shoes before judging . Everyone has hard days , maybe a smile or little kind gesture or yes maybe even few bucks. Might do more good than you can imagine - if we all did one good deed for someone else a day or a week - just imagine what a change that could make - we take a lot of things for granted - it’s never too late to change !!!

Small gesture of help make big difference a small boy got up after seeing a old women standing with some stuff.
If we all are help each other, I am sure nobody will suffer in any situation. Some of us have enough to help who others. Who actually needs helps.
Just speechless. If kindness is not ignored this is just the way we could live in harmony.

I experienced this...new to riding the bus, but signs posted stated..front seats are for disabled and elderly. I was standing , trying g to keep my balance, and a teenage boy, stood up and gave me his seat..cuz he was raised right! and I thanked him..❤
It is quite a surprise to see there is still 'kind and compassionate' souls existed among living human being.
It doesn't cost anything to be kind , you 17 k and myself, have kindness in our Hearts not like the 616 THUMB DOWNERS. Make someone's day , be kind and helpful. Heartache costs kindness doesn't.

Everytime I drive to the city next to my town I pay a bit more for my parking ticket than needed (usually at least one hour more) and give it away for free afterwards.
I know, this is just a small gesture of kindness, but I really love how easy it can be to make people smile on a nearly daily base 😊 Worth the extra $1 every single time.

not rich but these videos remind me of myself, I always try to help others in any situation. Three days ago, I was playing basketball by myself at the gym.. across the street was major traffic & I saw a lady on a wheel chair about to cross, I literally ran out of the gym just to walk her across town. She was a lovely lady, I know god will reward me one way or another for doing good deeds without wanting or needing recognition (:

When my kids were 10 and 7 yrs old, they wanted to buy me some Christmas presents. I gave them $40 and a calculator. I took them to Walmart and waited in the car. When they came out, they told me they went over by $7.43, they started to put somethings back and the lady behind them, who had asked if they were buying gifts for their mom, offered to pay the difference. She said it was meant to be because that’s exactly how much cash she had in her wallet!! She was our Angel that day!! 🥲❤️🙏

"Doing Good Does You Good", Any act of kindness no matter how small is ever wasted , it is a payback mechanism of nature, you do good or evil, it will be rewarded in the same manner.
I have little heart sticky notes that I like to write inspirational quotes on. Then when I'm in class I stick the sticky note on to the edge of the table, waiting for different people to find it. I love making people happy and you never know what a simple ”Have a good day” can do to someone. It just might make their day.
I want to be the richest man on Earth and distribute my money to each and every poor and needy🙏🙂

This has been my only New Years Resolution for the past 20 years...more random acts of kindness. Maybe one day I will need someone to give me a act of kindness...until then I am fortunate to be able to do this for others.

I'm so proud that I was raised to be just like these kind people. I may not have alot of money, but the goodness I show to others on a daily basis, is worth way more than money. That makes me the richest person in the world, to me.
When i turned 18 years old, my parents prepared a roasted pork as birthday gift. That was 1987 and during that time roasted pork is considered very expensive considering that we are not from a well off family. Around 1pm there's an old man selling slippers and stop by in front of our house, he look so hungry and tired from selling slippers, i gave him a plate of food and he thanks me profusely. Afterwards, he greeted me happy birthday and says this.... you are good man, god will bless you! Fast forward, Indeed god blessed me with good family and better life!

A few years ago, while eating my lunch from my car, I observed a man raiding a trash receptacle of food scraps and cups that still had a little soda left in them. I went over and gave him a $20 bill. I went back to my car and watched the guy take it and deposit it into his account at the ATM machine at the strip mall where we were. I can only speculate as to what was happening, but I really wish I had gone back to him and confronted him. Not that I wanted my money back, but I really would like to know if he was putting on a show to get money from generous people or was he really eating from the trash.
One day at Costco I bought bread and was able to pay when it's membership card was not registered on my name. I thought I have to come back again but a lady came to bill the stuff with her own card and even paid for it. She showed enough gratitude
I don't know about you but I find that, no matter how little money, I have in my pocket, I can always afford to give someone an abundance of kindness.

One day about 3 years ago , I was with my older brother (R.I.P. Bud). We went into Walmart to grab a couple things , and as we were in the checkout line , a elderly lady was buying her groceries . After being rung up , my brother noticed she started having to take items and return them because she didn't have enough money. My brother went over and asked how much was her bill. He paid the whole thing . When he passed away about a year later , that same lady was at his funeral. I spoke with her and come to find out , she was his 4th grade teacher. Since , I've done the same thing twice. Honestly , when you do something like that , it affects everyone positively. Pay it forward .
