I really hope this is true. I'm a huge X-Men fan and can't wait to see them in the MCU, but only if they will be done right!
I think this is going to be one of the sleeper Marvel gems that really push the MCU into a positive light again.
The chemistry with these main actors looks genuine and they are embracing these roles so much to the point that no one else can replace them.
I'm really looking forward to this movie and everything it opens up for the MCU.

Marvel has used "what comes next" in reference to Fantastic Four. At the end of Spider-Man Far From Home when he swings by Avengers tower, they had a sign that read "We can't wait to show you what comes next!" and the numbers 1,2,3,? under it.
Aye, and I really think they meant to follow through on that sooner rather than later. Likely some combination of rights issues and good ol' development hell. I'm sure we'll see both X-Men and the first family by Secret Wars, though.

I’m just hoping they do this right and not just try to do a, “Well let’s just throw something at them to keep them happy” type of maneuver because it really feels cheap when done that way. I’m excited to see this in the theaters and can’t wait to see how they tie it all together with Kang/Loki/Deadpool. Excelsior!!
With Deadpool 3, the rumors are to introduce the Fox x-men universe. So this rumor of a post credit scene does not sound like a last ditch effort. It at least feels planned

Yeah same here. I grew up watching Spider-Man and his Amazing friends in the early 80s and reading some comics too. I never thought I’d ever see an MCU. No matter how weak some movies may be it’s still amazing to see it on the big screen.

Lol born in 97 here and I still agree! Live action comic stuff came way before me but I still got to see it go from 03 Hulk to Endgame which is still pretty damn crazy considering the action era I ended up growing up into
I've seen all MCU films in the theater. I love the Marvel's premise and can't wait to see Brie Larson back in action. Just hoping this one executes better than some of the more recent MCU efforts. And yes, I'd agree that there may be too much Marvel content which has caused fatigue, I'd argue the work needs to be on par with the Infinity Saga (quality writing and cohesive stories all tying together). The recent phases feel disjointed with no real direction towards a larger story. It's like any type of movie...if the movie's great, people will show up. I don't think people are tired of Superhero films, I think they're tired of mediocre Superhero films. Great video as always!
They could put out new content every week and we'd eat it up if it was good and it didn't preach to us, it just hasn't been good for years now and the preaching is intolerable. Plus its not just Superhero films, remember The Matrix Resurrections? Terminator Dark Fate? Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power? He-Man and the Masters of the Universe? Have you seen the new The Hunger Games trailer? Almost all genre movies and tv are now guilty of this, woeful writing, preachy marketing, entitled opinions, hatred of legacy fans and don't get me started on the abysmal casting lately. I really hope it changes soon, I'll be overwhelmingly surprised if this one is any different though. Its almost as if they've forgotten that art is made for the people by the artist and if said art is not enjoyed by said people then said artist makes no money or reputation.

The last MCU movie I watched in theatre was Thor: Love and Thunder. It was more than enough to shatter my faith in those who's responsible with the creative direction MCU was/is taking. Wakanda Forever and Quantumania confirmed what I never thought would happen, that when a new MCU movie comes out in theatre right now, it's actually not gonna be a must watch in a theatre and that you'll miss nothing watching it later on Disney+. I still feel exactly the same if not worse for The Marvels.

Agree. The best part about the MCU films was always that we didn't know what we were going to be surprised by. Now they telegraph all the surprises in advance, so they aren't surprises anymore when we see them.

I started a comics fan as a teen and I'm well into my 30s now, so I'm going to always support Marvel Studios. Obviously they have been stumbling lately (before Loki S2 released), but I'm hopeful that Loki S2 and The Marvels will be the begining of things turning around and connecting together in a way that fans have been yearning for. Especially, after so many individual projects in Phase 4 & 5 haven't felt connected to the broader narrative.

A slight side track but still in the realm; could you consider creating a tribute to the late and amazing Kevin Conroy? He passed away last November, and was the sole reason I got into acting. I have a voice acting background and there are some preconceived notions that it's not as demanding as regular acting; but the vocal training itself and perfecting the craft may take more time than any acting school. l feel like he's underrated as Batman (ditto Mark Hamill as Joker) and even non existent in the conversation. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil games :)
