    ...Push the adapter and pressure balance puck... Crap! It fell. Now what goes where? Gaskets?
    Really, why this step? Shouldn't it ship with correct orientation?

  • @frankkennedy5361

    There were two loose gaskets provided. They were not mentioned in the written instructions or in your video. After assembly I turned on the water supply and water squirted out around the control handle. I am not a plumbing professional, however I knew immediately something was wrong (yes, I am a sarcastic sob). When I removed the pressure balance puck, I could see where the “extra” gaskets should have been. Reassembled everything and no leaks. Your instructions need attention, you should not be making assumptions.

    So the instructions say for this to be mounted so the valve plaster guard is flush with the plaster but my question is what do you mean by plaster. 1) Is flush with the plaster mean the waterproofing membrane or is flush with the tile? 2)Also does Moen offer any extension kits if I misjudged my overall depth? My access panel would be limited to the exterior wall of my house as I plan on demoing my entire shower

      @moenfaucets  3 года назад +1

      Hello Long Pham. The Moen M-Core Integrated Transfer valve shown in this video has 2-handles to operate the showering system being created. The top handle is the diverter/transfer valve handle and is used to select where to deliver the water and to which attached showering component. The bottom handle is the “on/off” and temperature control handle.
      The showering system functionality is dependent on which Moen M-Core Integrated Transfer valve you opt to purchase and the number of components attached to the rough-in valve. The Moen M-Core Integrated Transfer valve, U232, can have 2 or 3 components attached; all of the attached components can be operated individually. There is no “shared” functionality with this rough-in valve. The Moen M-Core Integrated Transfer valve, U362, can have 2 or 3 components attached; all of the attached components can be operated individually. This rough-in valve can be configured for shared functionality between 2 of the components in up to 3 different combinations. This rough-in valve would not allow you to run all 3 components at the same time.
