and Matt stepping in for Avi made for a different, but equally good, group vibe. He has the same ability to deliver a great bass line, and a beautiful melody when given the chance.

This song made me flash back to two years ago at my wedding when my wife was standing at the back of the church about to walk forward to where I was standing waiting at the front. When I first laid eyes on her it was an indescribable moment. My emotions were overwhelmed. I remember it seemed almost as if time had stopped. I could see nothing in the world but her. I can’t really explain in words how special the love of that moment was. It was something I will never forget. I only pray that our love grows stronger each day and that we relive that moment in new ways until we are old and grey. Thank you my dear for being in my life! God bless and keep us!

I was listening in bed in New Zealand, (I'm 81) and picturing the video, but I just couldn't bear not to watch it again, so I had to get up. It's one of the most beautiful renditions ever, love Scott's solo, love Kevin on cello (played cello myself in the past) but beatboxing too, love the ballet dancer, and I love that the others all did their understated skillful support to make this so magical.
I wasn’t sure how I’d feel with Avi gone, but Matt is holding it down! I’m glad the group has been able to progress without any drama or a lack of quality, and I wish all the best for the PTX members both past and present. 😊👍🏽

Everyone of the singers can sing a solo. Why is everyone complaining about Scott taking the lead? Just because people may have a favorite member doesn’t mean that they should have all of the solos. The harmonies are really what make Pentatonix who they are. Not being soloists. Also I should mention that they have 4 SONGS OUT OF 12 OUT. Do you know what that means? More songs are coming with more solos and beautiful harmonies that we have yet to hear. Scott’s rendition of this song is beautiful. Please respect them as they need no hate for they have beautiful voices.

Not only is this song 'Perfect', but Scott's voice is just perfect for this song as well. Rich, powerful, soulful, melodic. Just gorgeous!! Love, love , love it. And I won't even talk about Kevin's cello. As usual, Pentatonix have hit yet another home rin with this rendition. I would put it on a par with Ed Sheering original version, but at the same time different, just a beautiful as oh so Pentatonix.

I think this is my favorite song that Scott has sung the lead. His vocal range is perfect (no pun intended) for this song and it sounds so effortless and flawless.
I know this is old. But Scott's undersell is brilliant. This song doesn't need to sing to the rafters. Everytime, he almost breaks out... and he can, Scott pulls it back. And the story and emotions are better for it.

I see a lot of comments about Scott leading on songs. He is a fabulous lead!! Most of these songs seem to be chosen for a baritone lead. I am sure that the rest of PTX are not doormats. If they want the responsibility of a lead in a song I am sure they will be heard. They have been collaborating on arrangements for years after all. It seems to me that they have chosen a very specific style to cover in this album. With Kirstie on Broadway, Matt singing bass, Kevin cello boxing, the choice is between Mitch and Scott. For this song about holding a girl in your arms etc. I feel Scott and the baritone lead fits better. I actually love the higher range on the background vocals. Mitch and Kirstie are fabulous in this too. What's to complain and whine ungratefully about? I'm so happy to have another beautiful video to enjoy. Thank you, Pentatonix.

RCG I’m going to assume that it’s because Kirstie was also rehearsing fo her role on Broadway. She had a great lead in Despacito x Shape Of Your Body and Issues. They all had roles in Praying. I agree that it would have been nice to see music videos of those songs, perhaps when she finishes on Broadway they can do it!
But tbh, I think that Scott’s voice really compliments this song and the choice to keep it simple, was a good one.
As far as Mitch goes, people were saying the exact opposite with their Superfruit songs - it was practically 99% Mitch, so perhaps Mitchy was resting his vocals in preparation for their mini Superfruit tour which was coming up. Or it could just be that Scott had the best vocal range for these arrangements. 🤷🏾♀️
