    came here from our JZS147 USA group, so you just left the temp sensor connected? read up on an article on supra forums bout that resistor you mentioned. also heard about a fuse can be added to keep the check engine light off.

      As of now yes it's still just hanging loose, wiring in the resistor seems like the easiest way to fix the CEL which mine is back on now I'm guessing because of that sensor.

      @@noire537 gotcha, yea thats one of my concerns doing the delete, I hate having the money light on.

    • @noire537
      @noire537  2 года назад

      Yeah no kidding, drivability hasn't really changed but yeah I'd also like to have mine turned off. Only bad thing I've noticed after the egr block is the exhaust smells a bit more pungent.

      @@noire537 I got an intermittent rear light issue going on and my dash light comes on and kinda makes my day shitty haha. Also my EGR had just been replaced by the dealership before i bought it. Right right ok and I think the other vacuum lines you noted where for the charcoal canister. Seen people delete those but complain of a raw fuel smell afterwards.

    whats some benefits to an egr delete? besides less shit everywhere

    • @noire537
      @noire537  2 года назад

      Main is engine runs cleaner, no more burnt exhaust gas being recycled into the intake

  • @harryarman4940
    @harryarman4940 8 месяцев назад

    And I didn't cap mine. I took the plate off the back of the head and tapped and threaded a bolt on the exhaust side and custom made my block off plate from diamond plate steel

    • @noire537
      @noire537  8 месяцев назад

      Im not sure what you're even referring too. I did the delete the second best way without pulling everything out. The last thing you need are hotspots from exhaust flow.

    • @harryarman4940
      @harryarman4940 8 месяцев назад

      @@noire537 what about the canister under the manifold? That's where the vacuum lines come out of to open the butterfly valve in the intake

    • @harryarman4940

      And I believe I had a typo. I meant to say supraforum. Also there is another video on RUclips that shows how to delete with the motor in and with it out
